The kitchen area didn’t have all utensils and only one pan. Which was difficult when feeding 3 people. The site seemed to be under construction still and the restaurant on site didn’t have a vege option.

The staff were excellent and really helpful.

The walls are really thin so travelling with a baby meant being very quiet.

The location is great for really feeling like you are hidden away. The hot tub is great for relaxing at the end of the day and makes the lodge feel a little more special.

More utensils in the kitchen ( but as I read the reviews I took some ) cushions for the Outdoor furniture should be in the cabin , also the information booklet would be better in a folder not scraps of paper

I read all the reviews and they were very mixed , we enjoyed our stay cabin was lovely , nice secluded location , stunning walks , lovely cosy pub

The mattresses in our cabin need updating. They reminded me of the ones from the 1980's. We could feel all the springs inside. We slept on top of the quilt of the double bed and used the singles as cover. This comment does not detract from the stay we had, it was just what myself and husband needed.

The site was peaceful, even though there were families in the other cabins. Staff very friendly and pub on site was a bonus. Although we do not have a dog, good to see the site is dog friendly. Hot tub was perfect.

I would recommend putting more utensils and equipment in the cabins for doing your own cooking, it was very basic so struggled to do basic meals.

Great cabin in a nice quiet location. We had a cabin right at the end of the park overlooking nothing but fields so was perfect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Nice pub/restaurant on site which is family friendly.

Would’ve been nice if the hot tub was a little more private, didn’t like people looking over whilst walking past. Bedroom blinds not the best, room got very light very early in the morning. Not sure if the hot tub needed more chemicals but there was a slight smell to the water.

Very modern lodge, plenty of space and storage. Very quiet area, perfect to relax. Facilities were really nice.

2nd time we've been now and looking to book again around september... ultra clean , perfect hottub and a very peaceful place we have been to.. no kids , only 1 dog , no transport as theres no through roads.. perfection of peace and quiet.. staff are lovely... INFO FOR FUTURE GUESTS.. MAKE SURE YOU DONT FORGET ANYTHING AS THE NEAREST FORM OF LIFE OR ANY SHOP IS A 20 MIN DRIVE....

The mattresses of all the beds were very poor. Could feel every spring :( The road to get there was like driving in a 3rd world country No microwave

Hot tub was brilliant and the place was really clean. The lodge was spacious and well set out with excellent bathroom and kitchen.

For the third time in six months booking. Com had not informed the hosts of our booking. Not impressed. Staff went out of their way to make accommodation clean with short notice.thanks

The drive along a single track road to get there. On arrival we were greeted by a nice enough woman who eventually checked us in but tried to take us to a flat above the onsite pub. I immediately questioned this as we had booked a lodge with a hot tub. She called her "boss" and said she would "upgrade" us into a lodge but the "boss" would come and speak to us when he arrived back there soon. On arrival at the lodge my girlfriend was surprised to find a very strange foreign man with pigeon English hanging around our lodge which made her nervous but we think he was trying to say he worked there and was checking our hot tub and in fairness he did get it hot for us on arrival. Two hours after settling in the "boss" knocked on the door and proceeded to say we had only paid to stay in a flat and it should have cost us a lot more money so we were "lucky" his attitude stank but we never saw him again thankfully. The view of a metal fence with the burnt down lodges behind wasn't great but at least it meant less neighbours for us

The lodge was cozy, pretty clean. The kitchen was decent, bathroom wise the shower was big and powerful but thankfully we took toilet roll with us otherwise we would have had to drive the 1 hour round trip to humanity along the most ridiculous road to buy a top up for the 6 sheets of toilet roll left for us to ration. The hot tub was decent.

The toilet was leaking and also had a smell to the cabin but other then that everything was absolutely spot on

What a great break!!. The cabin was lovely the pub was great and all the staff was so friendly I would highly recommend and also can't wait to return. Thank you so much

Beds were a little uncomfortable and the shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold, no matter how much you moved the thermostat it was never at an acceptable temperature.

Quiet area, cabins were nice and spacious. Staff were amazing and extremely bubbly. Great size hot tubes, always ready to go.

Few cobwebs on the ceiling and the pub on site only serving Saturday night (Thai food). We travelled out for dinner and wasn’t an issue at all for us but make sure you plan for this. Overall cleanliness was great!
