We traveled with my daughter and her husband. Our rooms could not have been further apart (they were on the ground floor and we were on the third floor. A request to move closer was not able to be accommodated. My mistake - I assumed since I had booked both rooms at the same time they would be closer together. Even though the weather was cool and rainy, our room on the top floor felt quite warm. I kept our window open all day and all night for the room to be cool to sleep. Unfortunately, our room was also at the front of the hotel and the traffic noise affected sleeping. Rooms were an adequate size. Baths were a bit small to maneuver.

Delightful staff, excellent breakfast to start the day, very clean. Easy walk to town in either direction for restaurants.

We were on the 3rd floor, so the stairs were a little cumbersome, but not enough to put a damper on the stay. The only other thing was that the toilet didn’t flush very well.

It was very comfortable and having a bathroom en suite was very convenient. Also, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was good too (a LOT of food)!

The shower didn’t have much pressure which was disappointing. One of our party had hurt her knee and there is no lift which might be useful to mention in the amenities section for others in the future.

The guest house has a really pleasing vibe. Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast service. Our room was cozy, and the bed was comfortable. The location is also great and there are many places to eat nearby.

The appearance of an otherwise stylish bedroom was ruined by a dark brown and scruffy divan base which could easily have been covered by an inexpensive divan valance or wrap. I can live without a spa bath(who cares?) Or a monsoon shower(instrument of torture) Coffee mugs in bedroom had been lazily rinsed -unhygienic. -this complaint was dealt with quickly. Lovely high standard breakfast. High quality public areas.

Would have been good if vegetarian sausages were available. Was told they should have been pre-ordered at the time of booking(?) Seems a bit strange, as they are easy enough to keep in the freezer for guests. But nevertheless, the breakfast was excellent.

Very clean. Room 105 is very spacious, modern and clean. Great bathroom with excellent power shower. Nice bathroom amenities provided. Tea, coffee, kettle etc provided in the room, with biscuits and welcome chocolates. Lovely fluffy towels too. The bed was extremely comfortable. Quiet bedroom at the back of the building, away from the main road. Excellent breakfast!

Maybe extra towel hanging space or shelf in bathroom. As the bathroom was very 'cosy' realise this could be a problem. Even so we coped very well and would certainly visit again.

My room was smallish in comparison to pictures , shower head was broke so had to block it to a position that was ok , the bathroom rad had a leak , floor tile has a crack
