There was nothing I didn't like about this stay! Fair warning for those visiting Milos, it is possible to use the bus, but I highly recommend renting a car. I was a first time international car renter and it was a breeze (as long as you make a reservation ahead of time and have your IDP).

The location of this hotel is just what I wanted: a little more remote but still right off the main road. As a female solo traveler, I also appreciated how safe the property and surrounding areas felt. Very quiet with an incredible view of the sea! Walking access to two beaches was a huge plus. But the highlight of the stay was engaging with the family who runs the place! Taso and his family obviously put a lot of love into the property and it shows. I met his kind wife as well but interacted most with Taso and their son Aristotle. They were so welcoming and enthusiastic! They had excellent suggestions for places to explore, swim, and dine. Light breakfast snacks available in the room plus coffee maker and juice in mini-fridge. Very kind of the hosts to offer a few provisions for the room and the housekeeping was excellent. This place is a true gem and I hope to return!

Tasos could do almost everything but he could not change the strong wind. It would have been perfect if the wind was not so crazy but out of everyones control unfortunately. Go to the south side of the island if the wind is strong on the north side. There was a small "sofa bed" that I could not figure out how to turn into a bed one night when I was restless and didn't want to wake my wife tossing and turning. The facility is a Bed and Breakfast but they do not provide breakfast in the traditional manner (there is a coffee maker and toast/scones in the room). If you want a later night snack/dinner or a more substantial breakfast, you will need to plan accordingly and drive into town to get it (convenient to 2 towns). Wifi was a little spotty but that wasn't a big issue for me.

The location was wonderful and our room had the best view of any of the rooms we had on our 3 week vacation. When you book your visit, be sure you look at which room you are getting as the one we had was wonderfully picturesque. This was the only room on our vacation that lived up to the photos. Tasos (the owner) was super accommodating, helping us with our 2 day itinerary and setting up a nice half day boat excursion (highly recommend). Tasos was always there to provide a warm greeting and good conversation. We had some strong winds the 2 days we were there that kept us from enjoying the patio much, but on a calm day this patio is an ideal retreat. Be sure you have a car if you book this hotel (they have convenient parking), you can use transportation but it is a little remote for someone like myself to not have a car.

We had an amazing time at Milos, and Astraeos staying was the cherry on top of the cake. Amazing structure, great location, staff really friendly and helpful. Taso was the one who welcomed us, and he gave us all the information about the island. He is really passionate about the place, and you can see that he put I lot of thought on every single details of the Villa.

Because we had our own transport, the slightly remote location which might have been an issue, wasn't.

The apartments are beautifully presented inside and out. The fixtures and fittings are very modern and fit well with the rooms. The location is fairly remote but we had our own transport so this wasn't an issue. The stand out for us was the amazing hosts. The father and son who run the hotel are so amazingly helpful and genuinely nice people, that it's the thing we will remember most from our stay there. I couldn't revoked starting here enough.

We enjoyed very much our stay! If there was one little thing that would be improved, it would be the wifi but it might be linked to the island more than the hotel itself.

We loved Anastasios’ welcoming and kindness! Thank you for your hospitality! The hotel is very clean and confortable, well located nearby some nice beaches and from main cities (5 to 10 min by car). The room is well-equipped.

The host and staff were terrific! Very friendly! They took the time to greet us and show us on the map some of the great places to visit. The location is great too, with beautiful views. Very quite area. Since it is out of town, it's extremely peaceful and calm. The location is right next to Papafragas Caves which should not be missed! We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip back.

The location is perfect! It's secluded and quiet but not too far from anywhere. The sunsets from our balcony were breathtaking. The hotel is within walking distance to beaches, too. Tasos, Aristotle, and Joanna were so kind and helpful. They went above and beyond for us. They made us feel like family. I can't thank them enough. We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Milos.

The location is fantastic, it is a beautiful building, very clean but the best part was the service! Taso, the owner was extremely nice and he gave us a ton of very interesting info about the island upon arriving. He was very friendly and so was the receptionist. He even gave us a jar of local jam as a departure gift, so thoughtful! We forgot some clothes and they are sending them back, we are very happy about everything we experienced at the Astraeos!! The location was fantastic. Milos is a relatively quiet island and this property is ideally located between the main port area and another picturesque seaside town. A 2 min walk down a bit of a rocky / sandy slope was well worth it to find a fantastic entry point into the ocean within a quiet little bay. We treated ourselves to daily morning and evening dips.
