Esperides is like a water front motel. It is simple but very comfortable with everything you need. There are hammocks, tables chairs, recliners outside, games and everything you need to self cater. The room was clean, the shower pressure was good. The coast is rocky but there is a little path and when it is not rough you can swim right out the front- On rougher days you need to walk half an hour or drive to the nearest sand beach. The owners make their own oil and soap which you get in the apartment and you can buy more to take home. It is close to lots of fabulous attractions including King Nestor’s Palace. In our room we found a recommendation to eat at Terpsy- which is in the hills about 20mins away- we also recommend you do this, the owner was lovely and it was the cheapest and best food we have eaten in Greece. Pilos is not far and definitely worth a visit as is Voidokilias beach.

Location is great, both near the town and a short drive to the beach. Owners were quick to respond and extremely helpful regarding our late arrival. The perfect stay for large groups. All apartments were clean and bathrooms/kitchens stocked with essentials. We will definitely be back!

The little town surrounding Esperides was not very aesthetic and the layout of the apartment, in my opinion, was not optimal (the bedroom was in the back and the apartment was quite dark).

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure/temperature was great, the view was nice and there was great coffee at Filema in Gargaliani.

The property is located in a convenient position close to the main beach - you could walk down to the beach if you can cope with the sun! The owner is very helpful and discreet and with the wife they really look after the property, taking care of all the details. The apartment is well furnished, super clean and with a stunning view of the Simos beach

We came back to Esperides as it is such an amazing property. The garden and scenery are breathtaking. Watching the sunset and then sitting under a sky full of stars, are moments holidays are made of. The family running the property is very friendly and helpful. After exploring the surrounding area, we still find the adjacent village of Marathopoli the most charming and authentic. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to explore the south-west coast of Peloponnese as the ideal base.

The Wifi was lagging, it was hard to watch Youtube or anything else on laptop. It might have been because all the apartments were full and everyone was using Wifi.

The host is funny, very kind and friendly. The apartment was clean and tidy, though you could see that the furniture was very old. The apartment seemed bigger to us than on the picture which was a big bonus. They have free parking right in front of the apartment, only the people that stay there can use it. The sea is right in front of the place, you can go swimming there, but be careful it is very rocky. We also saw a lot of crabs in the sea, it was fun. There are so many things that you can do with your child there, it is very child-friendly place. You can also BBQ, sunbathe and go riding bikes. We loved this place!

We stayed there for 3 weeks, the apartment was nice and comfortable, and the garden and the sea view were beautiful. The host are friendly and welcoming. I'm not sure if you can find a better place to stay in the area. They have an electric car charger as well.

Everything was fine. Maybe it would be good to have darker curtains, or shutters, in the bedroom.

Maybe I missed the information, but there is actually no cleaning service throughout the stay. It would be great to have the option of cleaning service at an additional cost. Still, this small thing will not stop us from coming again.

Stunning garden with an amazing view. You simply don't need anything else. Lot's of space for all guests to have their private spot in the garden watching the most amazing sunset. You can see that a lot of thought has been put into the design.
