we ended up with a whole studio which was lovely! it is in a good location if you like quiet and traditional but there are regular buses down to the port for more hustle and bustle. Good places to eat and the hosts were lovely and gave us homemade liquor, which was delicious!

It's too bad that we thought we had the sunny terrasse with a view and that we finally couldn't but otherwise it was perfect.

Evi and her son Stefanos are absolutely adorable. The location of the accomodation is nice and their disponibility and kindness made the difference for our trip.

One of the breakers for one of the rooms wasn’t working the first day but they quickly got it fixed. There were roosters outside the unit that woke us up most mornings but wasn’t an issue with ear plugs or if waking up at a normal time!

Couldn’t have asked for a more ideal location. Beautiful view outside the rooms and 1 min walking distance from the best restaurants of our trip. Staff was so friendly and helpful.

Room is small, bathroom is tiny (can’t bend over to pick up shampoo on floor of shower type thing - no shelf for shampoo ..) the shower leaked whatever we did with the shower door or however short our shower was! we had a very unfriendly reception on our arrival, no one picks you up at the port or is around to ask questions etc. For the money we paid - and it was the most expensive place we stayed in 4 weeks in the islands - we were disappointed. we experienced fabulous hospitality in all the other places!! if we had not been paying as much it wouldn’t have bothered us as much.

great location with a nice view if you are lucky - our terrace was overlooked by a family house. Quite gruelling walk down a path to the beach (30 mins and steep, or steep road) bus infrequent so most people have a car. Situated in a lovely village.

The bed was a little bit hard, the bath a bit awkward, there is no kettle (we used a pot on the stove to heat water), no coffee or tea provided. And you need a car or a bus to go to the beaches (though we walked down to Agieli). It's recommended to have your own car, but bus is also easy enough.

Stefano the host was wonderful and accommodated every need quickly. The location is amazing if you like village life and great views. Tholaria is an incredible little village and it's not too far from the beaches. The restaurants in Tholaria are exceptional!!

The room is a bit old. Because it is very close to garden, there are a lot of insects and they might come in at night if you don’t close the windows or door properly.

The location is very convenient if you want to do hiking. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very responsive, kind and helpful. There is also a dog! The terrace also offers very good sunset view.

The property could do with a bit more maintenance. For example, we couldn't keep the bottom part of the door closed when the top part was open (this was a big issue, as there was a very strong wind blowing straight at the door the whole time we were there - no possibility of sitting on the terrace outside the room - and wind is not unusual on Amorgos). The toilet seat had a crack in it. A proper table and two dining chairs would be better than the coffee table (and its low chairs) and the inadequate 'breakfast bar'.

The room was a good size and the platform bed was very comfortable. Lovely view (but see below).

The house is convenient located near restaurants. The owners are very friendly. Thet offered us delicious wine when we left. The study was very clean, very comfortable bed and quiet to sleep. We had a great time.

Everything was just wonderful

Evi is so friendly and warm. She didn’t only allow us a very late check-in, she also picked us from the port free of charge, which I have never experienced with no host on Booking.com before. She even welcomed us with cakes. We felt very comfortable at Evi’s Studios. The view is breathtaking. The room’s decoration ist really exceptional. The bed is very comfy. Everything was clean.

The studios are perfectly located in the picturesque village Tholaria. Each morning you wake up with an ocean view complemented by donkeys and a unique mountain landscape. At night, as Tholaria is located uphill from the port of Aegiali, we enjoyed a clear night sky and a view across the entire island part of Aegiali (including Langada, Tholaria and the hiking trails with multiple monasteries). Apart from an ideal location, Evi's Studios trumps with an amazingly friendly and assisting host as well as cozy apartments. Would highly recommend the place to anyone who enjoys a quiet and traditional Greek village with lots of hiking options around the corner. Busses bring you to all the relevant places and beaches across the island multiple times a day.

We don’t really have anything we did not like. It is a little difficult to reach with no car, but that might be the case for all villages in such an island.

We loved staying at Evi’s - would book it again if we return to Amorgos. It was clean, comfortable, spacious. The host also helped us with transport and booking a car, plus served us lots of home made goodies.

It was at the very top of a hill and no public transport to beaches etc so long uphill walk in hot sun or taxi. Noise of cockerel and donkeys not too intrusive but some might not like it.

The room itself is rather small with barely any space to open your luggage apart from on the bed itself. The shower/toilet is tiny, my guess 3-4 sqm - impossible to close the curtain (otherwise you can’t move) so the water is splashing everywhere. Bad smell from the sewer. Upon arrival we were greeted by a member of a staff who barely spoke any Greek or English and just pointed us into the room (so a kind of self check-in with little/no interaction with the staff). At least a bottle of water on arrival would have been nice, as is customary in all other places we have stayed. And the worst of all - we were devoured by mosquitoes! Woke up in the middle of the night to kill a dozen inside the room, none of the windows have mosquito nets, no mosquito repellent or a warning were provided.

Comfortable bed, nice surroundings (blooming flowers in the garden) and location uphill in Tholaria.
