There was no kitchen unit in my apppartment. A little refrigerator standing on a cupboard next to the bed. And there was no good laundry rack.

The location was perfect, just wat the information said. A nice mountain view and a view of the sea. I had privacy. And I liked a lot that all the windows and balcony doors had insect screens.

The garden could use a trim as the weeds on the short path to the room were knee high at some point and should have better lighting at night. The coffee bar-reception operates at variable hours. A large waste bin near the premises would also be a welcome addition.

A fully equipped kitchen. Five minute drive to the village of Plakias which had excellent market, bakeries, cafes, taverns and bar choices. Also 20 min drive to Ammoudi which offers the shortest and easiest walking path to the amazing Preveli canyon (15 min walking path from Ammoudi)

Property is placed between 2 streets where cars and noisy motorbikes walk all day and night (untill 2-3 AM). Being at the last floor, walls become very warm in the afternoon and evening and do not cool down until morning, rooms are hot inside. The air conditioner device although efficient is very noisy even at its lowest setting so keeping it working at night is not an option for everyone. Also, keeping windows open at night is not a good option given the noisy vehicles walking the street till late. You need to be very noise tolerant to be able to sleep either with air conditioner on or with open windows. And sleeping without them is not possible either because of the warmth. If you get home later with car (after 8-9pm) you'll need to park in front of other properties up or down the street, depending on how many other guests with cars have parked already. Only one or two parking spots next to the property provide some shadow for the car. This is a taverna so sometimes they have guests and loudly talk and sing in the evening but not till too late, 10-11pm maybe because they also have kids which they usually put to bed at that time. In conclusion, I would not recommend this place to stay if you need quietness/tranquility especially at night.

The lady in the house was very nice, helped with all we needed, the 2 rooms were large, had confortable beds, retractable mosquito nets at each window and door, cleaning happened every 3rd day, 2 balconies with confy seats and tables, fridge, electric oven, some dishes and automatic washing machine available, hot water available at all times, good wifi, parking available on the street near property.

We liked the café they run and the garden area where you can drink coffee, enjoy your breakfast or drinks in the evening or just hang out between the flowers, under the live trees. Victoria is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would not hesitate to come back to her and can sincerely recommend the place, especially for families.

Room No 7 is Ground floor and has a wonderful Garden, so you have a perfekt privat area, very quiet, no neighbor and close to nature, we loved it.

we stayed in the room in front of the street...when there would be a kind of screen (p.exl.a rush mat) you can get a bit more the feeling of privacy...

we liked the garden with all the different plants and colours. the appartement was very clean and the first time in crete (since 2 weeks) we got a hot shower, yeah!

The hosts were amazing. They helped us a lot to find the best beaches around as well as the best food. They even allowed us to use the kitchen to make our breakfast. We also spent some time together as they invited us for some raki. Super friendly. 100% recommend this place

We have no complaints! You need a car -- in the heat it is more comfortable to drive to the beach -- and we preferred to visit the beaches either side of Plakias.

We loved staying here. The hostess was warm and helpful, and the building sits within a beautiful garden with ancient olive trees. The apartment is comfortable and homey and perfect for settling in for a longer stay.

The facility is not super new so if you are looking for luxury appliances it’s not the right place. Also it’s located next a garden, so there are naturally creatures that get in. Kitchen has a stove, utensils, pans, but I had preferred to buy and use my own as they seemed old/unused in a while.

The place is located in a quiet place on the way to a few gorgeous beaches. The hosts were very nice, kind and accommodating. The garden is absolutely beautiful and the main reason I picked that place as I wanted to have an inspiring place to meditate and do yoga. Garden is big with many flowers, plants and more than 100-year old olive trees. The studio is spacious enough for a one week stay and the main areas of the studio were well cleaned.

The garden was very beautiful, quiet, and serene. The room was clean. We had a quiet sleep. Loved the local cats that came to enjoy breakfast with us.

Such a disappointing stay. The host CANCELLED our stay only 7 days before arrival because they did not finish renovating. She offered to arrange a replacement in a hotel next door, assuring us that it would be"the same type of appartment". We took it because this was 3 days before our trip and we did not have time to find a new place. We payed to get a nice room, all beds, mountain view AND garden view with a balcony!, hair dryer and other equipment. What we got was an old ugly hotel room IN THE BASEMENT (eventhough we were pretty sure that the hotel was completely empty and we could have gotten any other room). It had that moldy basement smell. When messaging with her, she assured us that the hotel would also have all beds, but it did not, 2 of us slept on the couch. No view whatsoever. Obviously no balcony. Minimal equipment. We got completely screwed over. She basically just lied about everything that this hotel would offer us.
