Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe location is desolate, no supermarket, restaurant shops close by. The description lists location as Glyfada, which it is NOT. You need to take the bus or taxi to Glyfada, For anything. Breakfast was Very Basic & not worth the €7.00. Small bottle of water would be nice upon arrival for guests. I was charge .50 cents. Similar hotels include Breakfast , are close to town and less $. The room was so small that when you came out of the shower you would hit the toilet, no Grab bars dangerous as floor of shower Slippery. The price of taxi to airport was similar to what I paid from Athens City Center.
Bus stops close to hotel.

United KingdomIt would have been better if there was an option of cooked food in the evening as the nearest restaurant is 2km away. As mentioned though there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and a ten minute ride takes you into the centre of Glyfada where you are spoilt for choice.
Breakfast was okay but nothing special. Hotel itself was in a decent location and the staff were extremely helpful. It's an oldish hotel now but still good and has character. Very convenient to take a short taxi ride to the metro station Elliniko into Athens or Piraeus or a short bus ride into central Glyfada.

ArmeniaThe noise from the motorway was unbearable in the night :( if not that noise, I would rate it as 10. Perhaps thicker windows would solve the problem
The room was much better than seen at pictures, and actually close to perfection!

RomaniaThe moment we checked in and got into the room, a strong smell of cigars hit us, as well as closed air inside the room. The Hotel is located 30-40 min walking from Glyfada Center, therefore you don't have any place close to grab a bite, you will need to count on either walking/ taking the tram to Glyfada or the center or ordering.
The location of this Hotel helped me the most, as we stayed only 1 day in Athens and needed a place to rest, shower, and be able to run back to the airport. You have right across the street the Tram that will take you to the Center of Athens but also the BUS station that will take/ bring you to/from the Airport directly. It accomplished all my needs for 1 night's stay. Although located very close to the main street, once the balcony doors closed - the noise fades away and you can have a very quiet sleep (I am not bothered so much by noise ). Basic amenities are offered in the bathroom, and although didn't have breakfast included, I could enjoy a coffee served by the Receptionist :)

United KingdomThe hotel feels like it's in the middle of nowhere next to a very busy road. A long way from anywhere but the upside was the van we found about 15 minutes walk away which sold excellent hot dogs. The room was extremely basic. Bunks and a single bed, rather than the double we'd expected. The bathroom was pretty basic too. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
Nice breakfast, very convenient location for the airport, very basic but not expensive so you make allowances. Friendly staff.

Hotel is basic but good value. Staff were very friendly and helpful and recognised you as the customer. All areas clean and tidy. Continental breakfast had plenty of options and staff keen to make sure you had enough. Air conditioning worked well in heat of the day.

Denmarkvery noisy street, all night long (crazy fast driving motor bikes) several km of beach has none or restricted access due to major demolishing and (hopefully) reconstruction work for years to come (we did not like the endless fences in 2023)
Room 320 is top floor, nice large arond the corner balcony, sea & harbour view and sun-set view towards Aegeus harbour.

HungaryThey didn't clean regularly, didn't take the rubbish daily only if you asked them. But if you asked for these things the staff was really very kind and helpful. It was very kind of them to allow us to drop the luggage before check in time and also keep them for the whole day after check out.
The hotel is OK for a 2 star hotel. It is close to beaches which are easily accesibile by tram. The tram stop is just in front of the hotel across a target busy 3 by 3 lane street. Bus stop is also in front of the hotel.

NorwayThe mattress. the noise so we had to keep windows closed, but one gets used to it so no problem sleeping. I had to pay my meal in cash, whilst there is visa sign on the door.
The double mattress was worn so one could feel the metal. No breakfast included but coffe and te (with ecological lemons right form the trees) and ham and cheese toast made to order any time :-) . Light room with big balcony two orientations. In spite of language difficulties we communicated well with the owners. Bus A2 right out side. Tramstop 5 steps away. very convenient.
