Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSome noise from Chabad (above hotel main building) which overlooked our room. This was from people stood outside talking and running along their corridor.
Staff were exceptional, amazing service. Food in the restaurant and cocktails delicious. Views from the restaurant, pool and bar were stunning especially the sunsets. Rooms were modern with good AC. Pool was relaxing, chilled music and comfortable sunbeds. Good location with supermarkets across the road, lots of local bars and restaurants. Buses go past regularly plus a taxi rank not far away.

United KingdomIt was tolerable but we would have liked our small, private pool to have been heated. The room was described as being 'sea view' but in reality it is 'partial'.
The property is on the sea side of the main road so the traffic could barely be heard. Our suite was perfectly located, having the morning sun on our recliners until well after midday. The breakfast choice was great and all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The sunset views in the evening were second to none.

IsraelThe breakfast was not a good value for money and included a lot of bread, 1 piece of cheese and 1 piece of ham. To get an omelette for example, or a second cup of coffee, you have to add extra payment. The water in the private pool was freezing so we couldn't enjoy it.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The cocktails are amazing, but expensive.

It is just by the sea, clean and big rooms, private small pool just in front of the room. A small kitchen. Superb staff

BelgiumA little oasis on the south of Rhodes town. You can tell that this place has tradition (is from 1925) and was beautifully renovated. The setting is magnificent- right at the beach. Staff was very friendly.

Italyexceptional restaurant, menu is not really exaggerated, but if you ask for mousaka or fresh fish one day in advance you will experience wonderful food. Rooms are not really modern, the level of cleaning is absolutely perfect though. All staff is professional and helpful.

United KingdomAccess to plunge pool was difficult, hot water in shower limited later in day. Noise from neighbouring property (religious center above our room) but not the hotels fault!
Room was spacious, nicely designed, good facilities and especially liked the private plunge pool.

United KingdomThe bed was a little squeaky for a honeymoon 😜
The room was large, clean and well presented. The private pool was a nice touch to have. The food is really good for every meal, I really liked the breakfast choice. The cocktails are so good that while expensive you can’t help but more. The staff were ever so friendly and really look after you.

IsraelThe bedroom door did not close fully, and the garden door was tough to move. There were some mosquitoes and no mosquito nets.
It's a cozy little hotel with a family atmosphere. We had a comfortable room, spacious enough for a family of 4, with a direct exit to the pool, which was great. The service is excellent; the staff is accommodating and super friendly. We loved the location, right in front of the sea, 15 min drive to the town.

United StatesOur beds were in need of an upgrade - the large one caved in the middle, the small one was too hard. It was not enough to make a complaint about on the spot, but we were ready to return to our beds at home after a couple nights.
We really enjoyed our stay! The staff are genuinely kind and caring, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The pool area is fantastic, good music, good food - it is like staying at a beach club. Further, to have our own, mini pool at our room was also really wonderful, especially for our 6-year-old son. From here, we were able to easily move around the island, as well as reach the airport in a short time. If we visit Rhodes again, we would happily return to this hotel :)

United KingdomI had a fantastic stay at Villa Di Mare. From start to finish the stay was perfect with outstanding customer service from all staff. The location is perfect, short taxi ride from airport and about 10 minutes / 11 euros taxi ride from Old Town Rhodes. The accommodation was spotless and spacious with lovely little touches. The pool / bar and restaurant is such a relaxing area right on the sea front with a lovely vibe during the day and night. The food was excellent, lovely breakfast and the lobster sandwich at lunch was the best I have tasted. The hotel manger came each morning to talk to guests at breakfast and was visible throughout the day. In all an excellent stay and planning to come back again. Thank you all at Villa Di Mare.

GermanyThe breakfast only starts at 9am, for people that like to be up early this was a little annoying, also no fresh juices or sparkling water on the menu and when asked, the servers response was its not included in the price..I'm sorry but for 270euro a night I think it's not a far stretch to ask. Although saying it was fully booked the maximum amount of guests we saw was approx 20/25 so atmosphere was a little lacking. Our private pool throughout the day never got any sun so was too cold so didn't get as much use out of it as we thought we would, same as our neighbours. Upon arrival our fridge was turned off, we turned it on and caused a puddle of fridge water in the kitchen, not the best welcoming.
The hotel overview is very well maintained, very friendly staff, our room was gorgeous, stayed in a Premier room with pool and sea views, with direct access to the sea. The room does come with a small kitchenette which is a bonus, although no chopping board. Outside space is lovely with two loungers and a small table and beyond the gate was always free sun beds. As it's a small pebbled access to the sea I would highly recommend swim shoes, we had ours with us but they were also available in every store. We had an outside light that didn't work and within moments of telling the reception, maintenance was there fixing it. The strip outside has a small number of restaurants, some better than others, but the main town of rhodes is 2.30e on the bus, tickets bought on the app, or 11/12 euro in taxi.

TurkeyI felt like anyone could enter the hotel facilities which may be the case since the restaurant is open for everyone but still as the pool is also right where you enter I would have liked the place a bit more private. The sea there is beautiful but it is soo windy so almost noone swims there, bear this in mind.
It is such a chic hotel. OMG just breathtaking. You are walking on the busy street in Ixia and then you enter the hotel and it is just like a paradise. I couldnt get enough of the beautiful view. Definitely include the breakfast and you wont regret it. Also choose a room with a private pool. So nice.
