The kitchen is poorly equipped, freezer is dirty. The bathroom is waiting impatiently for its renovation. Half of the shower door is missing, the towel rail is torn off, the cover of the drain in the floor is lash-up. When we returned from our trip, the room was filled with the smell of hydrogen sulfide from this drain. A thorough flushing with water and airing out helped. Even the cleanliness of the bathroom is not what one would expect. Hint: If no one is at the front desk, look in the adjacent tavern. A sign with this information would be helpful.

The house, corridors and patio are very nice. The room #12 and its large spacious terrace also.

Staff is not very responsive to messsges on Booking.com but you can always find them at the restaurant downstairs or reach them by phone.

Great location, we chose the sea view apartment but the garden view on the back was also beautiful. The hosts are very nice people and their restaurant offers delicious dishes!

Kitchen equipment is really simple and not sufficient to cook. Insted of preparing our own meal we have choosen to eat at loval tavern which was great idea and not expensive at all.

Great location for quite vacation. Beautiful beach witout crouds and with sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. Appartment is just infront of the beach and has nice view from the balcony.

Room size and facilities. We were discriminated against in the taverna. All Greek guests received watermelon and cherries after the meal, but we only got the watermelon. The whole village is geared towards domestic guests. It helps if you speak some Greek and know their habits.

The room was very basic and disappointing. Not as advertised. Very small beds, washroom and shower.

We only stayed for one night (basically just to sleep there) when travelling from Frangokastello to Ierapetra. Based on past reviews our stay was underwhelming. The apartment was quite dirty - there were hair everywhere that were not ours, something was spilled on the floor, the fridge was smelly. Additionally, part of the shower door was missing. I also thought we ordered a double bed, but it was two single beds pushed together, which was a little bit uncomfortable.

The beach and the family service was ekstra. The price was so low... Best hotel for the price in all of crete. In july you can attend a greek weeding at saturdays with 1200 persons at the street.

The shower was a little on the small side, so if you need a lot of space to shower it could be difficult. We had no problem with it though.:)

A perfect place to stay for a few nights, literally just a few steps from the beach. The sea is crystal clear and is in a beautiful bay. The room is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge, glasses, plates cutlery etc. and a kettle to boil water. We booked a room with sea view and it really was worth it.

The owners were super nice and welcoming the house was clean and beautiful directly at the beautiful beach. we had a great time there :)

The owner was so friendly and nice to us. Always asking if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Lovely room with everything you would need, and right on the beach. Restaurant just outside and a little supermarket. Very peaceful and quiet, not many tourists around which is just what we wanted. Highly recommend if you're looking for a little getaway in a local, friendly beach village.
