The hotel is inside the Diocletian Palace. How cool is that? The breafast was good - offering lots of food choices. The room was a nice size. The toilettries are L'Occitane. What's not to like? Also, they make arrangements to meet you just outside the wall of the Diocletian palace - to carry your bags and guide you to their hotel. Great service.

The staff was incredibly nice and provided wonderful suggestions whenever I asked for assistance with finding a good restaurant or side trip to do. They went above and beyond what was expected and were always friendly and helpful.

The old Roman palace is a landmark and large compound. Within which are hotels, restaurants, shops, attractions etc. and there are steps involved; luckily the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful to guide and assisted us with our luggage.

Located inside the palace which is just off the promenade along the waterfront. Sightseeing, the various attractions within the palace, good restaurants are literally steps from the hotel. We walk 5-6 minutes to meet with our guide for the island hopping boat rides which docked just 3 minutes away. In short, it’s convenient and saves us time. The hotel staff is amazingly helpful, Anna assisted us with our luggage and led us outside the palace to meet with our Uber driver. Don’t miss the breakfast, a lovely lady would prepare special local delicacy not found anywhere, we had flaky cheese pastries with fresh asparagus or sausage. Bed was very comfortable and well appointed linen and towels. We had a great stay.

Everything was awesome. Starting from the reception and welcome, the tram took time to explain the facilities and attractions in detail. Also, suggested a few good restaurants. The room was very specious and modern. Loved it. The location is simply superb - within the old town and stone through distance from all major attractions. And the breakfast was home made, the best we had further trip. Thanks to the hotel team for everything.

I loved the interior decor of the room - very elegant room amidst a medieval town. The location was very unique and walkable to major highlights of the town. Lots of snacks available throughout the day and a nice breakfast in the morning. The staff were very helpful and helped with our luggage to and from the hotel and parking spot.

The staff are the best assets of this hotel. Ana, Ante, Ivan, and Jan (especially Jan), they are friendly, polite, super helpful, attentive, resourceful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is also very nice, clean and very comfortable. Close with everything and the promenade.

Location was perfect for The Riva, trains, buses to Train kit or ferries to the islands. Loads of great restaurants were nearby. Ana and Jan were extremely helpful and welcoming. Wonderful stay.

The location is unbeatable! And the service is awesome. The room is modern, spacious, and clean. Even the bathroom floor is heated so that when you walk, it’s not even cold. The free breakfast and liquor are a plus. The hospitality of the staff is what makes this hotel stands out. I would definitely come back here.

There was an issue with our hot water where it just wouldn't seem to stay warm. The parking is street-side on a one way street where cars drive quickly. If you have a longer vehicle, it might be cause for some concern.

Absolutely wonderful little stay in the heart of the old town. Go around a corner and you find yourself right in the midst of the Roman ruins and alleyways that make Split so charming. Very helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast was just lovely with made to order eggs and an assortment of cheeses and meats. The staff were more than helpful in talking to us about things to do and sights to see. The rooms were clean and comfortable! A wonderful experience and we wish we could've stayed longer.

The TV is out of order, of all days. Plus, I am unable to view the picturesque scene from the window, as described by the photos. Instead, only the room windows are all facing the walls. Otherwise, all else are just perfect for me.

The spacious room, the excellent service and convenient location, just a stone's throw away from the bus terminal. Of special mention is Ian, our host, who is very helpful and friendly, which really made us feel at home with his warm hospitality!

The entrance was a bit hard to find, but nothing that reduced the exprience.

The hotel was great. It is the perfect location, with a clear view of the most iconic buildings in Split, Diocletians Palace, and the tower of Saint Duje. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast didn't have many options, but it was great. The room size is just enough, clean, and romantic.

The room is smaller than expected but I guess that can't be helped given the historic area where it's located. The hotel did try to put everything necessary into the small space though.

Best location in town - you literally wake up to see the Diocletian palace. Market is just outside the gate and promenade is very close. Friendly staff was the highlight of our stay - they made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to help. Breakfast was plentiful and included homemade items like banana bread and pastries. Coffee and tea selections were provided 24/7 in the lobby.

Would have been great if there were less steps!!! And we needed another day there..

It was a quaint location with interesting look abouts.. Everything was managed really well.. the breakfast was fantastic, homely, delicious and the best part was the warmth of the staff especially Danielle who went out of her way to make us more than comfortable… Thank you Danielle
