We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwitzerlandThis hotel is a scam that traps tourists. The services offered are not guaranteed. The fitness center, beach access and restaurant are not fit to receive guests. There is construction work, with noise and no lighting in front of the hotel, which is not mentioned on the site. I request a refund!

United KingdomBed bugs - we came away with lots an lord of bed bugs, when we contacted the hotel they advised they were going to complete an inspection the day we left and said that there were no bed bugs as they had had external pest control inspect the bed/room an found nothing. I asked for this report and was told that it takes a few days to get this from the pest control. After another prompt days later we recieved a report which was dated one week after they had said the original inspection had taken place! I questioned this and they said that the first people wouldn’t provide written evidence so they had to get someone else in! I was very disappointed by this as in my opinion this proves there was infact bed bugs. We are currently seeking legal advice about this as I was bitten that badly I had to have antibiotics due to one on my leg becoming infected

GermanyThe ongoing construction in front of the hotel on the beach was not something I expected. Also, there was loud music from the hotel's restaurant party one day, which continued until midnight, permeated the entire building. Despite my efforts to use earplugs, it was impossible for blocking the sound out. There was no announcement or apology for this inconvenience. And I specifically chose this hotel for its swimming pool. However, upon arrival, I learned that the pool was under renovation. The staff at the reception desk, responded to my concern by saying, "I don't know what to do about it; there's a beach across the street where you can swim." This response did not meet my expectations for customer service.

GermanyWe weren't informed about construction inside and outside the hotel. The construction was right in front of the hotel. Also, they renovated the entire spa area which we didn't know so we couldn't use that area at all, which was sad as that was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. Because of that that part not being available it was a little too pricey for what you got

SpainLocated very far from city center, in the epicentre of road construction, no infrastructure around. Breakfast is very poor. Luckily there was a beach club 1,5 km away, very expensive one , but still we could enjoy beach time ( hotel has no private beach) . Every day cleaning means changing of towels only . Conditioner in the room is super loud , no matter what temperature you set .

NetherlandsThe area in front of the hotel is in a major reconstruction. But so is the hotel pool - there isn't any! Quite a problem if you're travelling with 3 kids. If they told me beforehand the pool was closed for reconstruction I would have definitely picked another hotel. The menu has changed recently and all great reviews out there are now absolete. The new menu/kitchen is bland and boring. Upon checkout the staff member showed absolutely no interest whatsoever in my experience, she didn't even bother to ask if I enjoyed my stay. Very unlike the lovely and hospitable people of Croatia.

United KingdomThe breakfast was incredibly poor - not a wide range of dishes to select from. Breakfast sets you up for the day as you might not have a meal until dinner time. If you are selective about that, then it’s disappointing and it let the hotel down a great deal. The wifi wasn’t very efficient either.

SingaporeThe air-conditioning in the room was bad . It was so hot that we did not have a good night sleep . We had 2 nights in this hotel but first night the temp was at 27 degree all thru the nite . Its summer and the rooms are warm second nite they adjusted it to 24 degrees. Which was better but still not good enough. Secondly there was no food served after 10pm . All the restaurants and cafe bar don't serve food after 10pm.. Which was bizarre not having any food for supper when you are on holiday. The WiFi was legging on arrival . The front office Manager fixed the problem that night.

I thought the breakfast was average. The juice,bread etc was of poor standard, and the hot food was poor and often lukewarm as it was not kept On proper hot plates. The buffet was not replenished consistently,and often ran out of hot items. Although it does not claim to have an outside pool,it would greatly benefit from having one Apart from local channels , the TV is mainly Italian and German channels and next to nothing for UK clientele
