It's rather chaotic at breakfast but I guess the hotel was very busy. Lovely bar on mezzanine area but quite a few tables had used glasses on them, tables not being cleared which is a shame as the hotel is beautiful and this jarred.

Location was good, staff very friendly & helpful, lovely to have the pool & sauna too.

The staff in the residents bar, we were told upon arrival it was table service only, to then wait 30 mins without our order being taken. We went up to the bar then to order our drinks and were told they would be 2 mins. 10 mins had passed so we returned to the bar and they had forgotten our order (2 glasses of wine). We then had to wait another 15 mins after requesting the bill.

The building has central air conditioning, each room has a control unit with the possibility of setting the temperature. turns out that doesn't really work in the full hotel and the room itself was quite cold.

Staff were a bit condescending upon arrival. We didn’t feel welcome. Older man was quite rude. There was construction works going on on our floor and we weren’t notified about it. We were woken up very early.

Great location, loads of facilities such as a bar restaurant and pool. They gave us a fruit platter for our anniversary which was a nice touch.

Nothing, we loved everything

Amazing stay in Hotel Continental Budapest. Very beautiful hotel with authentic vibe and history. The services are very good (restaurant, pool, spa, massages..), location is central and staff very nice. Our highlight is the cafe of the hotel (cafe galeria) very beautiful with great cocktails. We will for sure come back to this hotel for our next stay in Budapest.

The bed wasn't very comfy and the room was quite noisy . But it was very cheap!

The staff were friendly , the shower was good, the breakfast was good with lots of things to choose from. The location was okay, we walked everywhere.

The fan/ventilator in the room & bathroom was very noisy and disturbed us a lot.

One of the rooms was really small. The the bathtub had some kind of stains in it.

The hotel was close to the center. Great breakfast! We even got a great early breakfast before we left to the airport early, which was amazing. Great inside pool.

Although the choice of breakfast items was good some of the items were on the cooler side.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was spacious, modern and very clean. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the lovely bar area listening to the pianist. Staff were welcoming and attentive and more than happy to help with extras like booking transfers. We were pleased with the location as it was central to main attractions and within easy walking distance of a variety of nice resturants and bars.

The A/C unit is very loud and cannot heat the room, it blows cold air even when you turn it up to maximum. The room is outdated.Glamorous hotel in pictures not so in reality.The two flickering led bulbs were very annoying.

Whilst not far from the busier main road, it would be a bit of a dark or quiet street to return to if travelling alone. As a group, this wasn’t so much of an issue. It felt like quite an arty area overall and we quite liked this. We also did a street art tour in the vicinity and found a number nice bars/restaurants near the hotel.

The large entrance was very welcoming and this, or the bar above, was a nice place. The rooms were nice and clean. We had 4 rooms booked in our group and they had located them all within good distance of each other. Lots of staff around generally who were very helpful. The breakfasts were also great, definitely worth including in a booking - with a large selection to choose from. We were leaving for our flight at 2am on the last day, so the hotel packed our group (7 people) each individual breakfast bags which was a nice touch and a welcome mix of items. We were all happy and would stay here again if returning to Budapest.
