Room up grade price difference.

Overpriced, for the type of hotel. I asked for an upgrade and was offered a deluxe suite at the cost of 20e a night extra. The next suite was nice but they were looking for 120e a night which was not worth it, I tried to bargin with them as this was my partners birthday treat, I was told the management do not allow satff to reduce rooms, so i told them to keep it. The delux room was very basic. I ended up not getting a good sleep at all. The air conditioning didn't work at the wall. The bathroom was small and again only English news channels, shocking. The hotel is close to the metro and bars and shops. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from, and the staff were excellent, including Bravvash and Dominic, who looked after us while there. Well done. The rooftop leisure area was fab, 1 indoor pool and 1 outdoor both heated they were fab and clean, nice area to sunbath and 2 saunas. Can remember the young girls name, she had long blond hair, she was so polite and friendly, well done.

The room was a little small , the shower was poor quality , had leak and shower doors didn’t close properly so water spilled over onto the floor when showering .

The roof top pool area was excellent for a central city hotel . Breakfast was great , with good choice of hot & cold food.

The breakfast area gets full (but here, too, acyclical visits are the usual solution).

We had a great stay. The hotel is well located and slightly retro - we appreciated this charm. The hotel is located on a side-street, so that there is little noise from the hustle and bustle of the Budapest main roads. Excellent breakfast buffet. There is a small sauna and pool area, which we used acyclically time-wise (in order to avoid the usual popular times), which worked well. There is also a roof area with loungers looking over the rooftops of Budapest - which we also ended up using as we were fortunate with the weather. Nice cocktail offers in the bar area, and the personnel are all very friendly.

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was perfect!

Breakfast was great, lots of choice and the fresh egg stall omelette was yummy. Enjoyed the evening bar for a night cap and the swimming pool on the roof was a nice way to cool down after a day out sightseeing.

The breakfast could be better in my opinion - more options and more quality products. The room was mostly occupied by bed so no space to even open your suitcase.

The rooftop terrace and lobby are definately the highlights. I liked wooden cards as keys and reception stuff. The location is more than perfect.

very noisy, you can hear the people in other rooms showering like the water is falling frim the ceiling, no ironing and cleaning service in weekend😩🤦🏻‍♂️,and the cleaning in room was very poor no vaccum or washing the floors!

The air conditioning only allowing the lowest temp to 19 degrees

Room was really nice and so was the hotel, however the air conditioning only goes as low as 19 degrees which is very hard to sleep with. Also our light in the bathroom kept flickering

I didn't like the fact that the gym and spa were not open until 9 am. One of the main reasons I booked this place is that it has a pretty decent gym, so as an athlete, I can keep up with my training while visiting Budapest. I wasn't able to use the gym one single time because working hours are not convenient. The second thing I didn't like and expect from a place like this is that the Garage - basement elevator didn't work throughout our stay, and coming with a baby, that is a huge inconvenience.

Great central hotel with modern clean rooms with style and good bathrooms. Entrance hall beautiful and frontage a reminder of its historical heritage. Breakfast excellent choice of hot and cold and made to order omelettes. Staff particularly concierge services very helpful and friendly. Central location with easy walking to most places of interest. Recommend driver service to / from airport.
