“Just brilliant. Clean big room, nice terrace with a nice view to talk to other travellers and share stories, delicious food served by the Homestay. Highly recommend doing a tour from the Homestay too, Yansen was our guide and he was amazing. We felt we got to experience a more authentic time with him, and felt welcomed into the funeral ceremonies. He explained everything so well and always had a huge smile on his face! He English was great and he had in-depth knowledge of the traditions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and it is an experience we will talk about the rest of our lives. Thank you so much!!”
“The Singki family home is situated on the edge of Rantepao , looking out over a beautiful ricefield area. You can walk into the city, only 10 minutes walk.
Emanuel and his sons are very kind and helpful. We also went 2 days touring the Toraja countryside with them on the back of their motorbikes. It was a very great experience and Emanuel has good knowledge of all the history and culture here.
The facilities are kept vey clean, the beds are comfortable and breakfast is fantastic!!!
