What a beautiful gem in Canggu! Amar is a real oasis at the more silent part of Canggu! Beautiful rooms; incredible breakfast and the host and the staff are just lovely and so thoughtful! If you go to Canggu stay at Amar!

Nothing. This place is perfectly located near the busy parts but not in the middle of them. Meaning you can walk or ride to any of the many amazing restaurants in the area.

This is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff are incredibly welcoming and nothing was too difficult. The room is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The location is perfect. This place feels like a home away from home and a lot of that has to do with Filipa being the epitome of a good host. We could not recommend this hotel more and we look forward to our next visit.

Everything ! Amar team is adorable and attentive, decoration and layout are so fine…We feel like in Paradise. Everything is made to make your stay memorable, attention is payed to every details, you will only have to let yourself be driven by the positive energy that emanates from this place to enjoy your holiday in the best way. Also, breakfast is delicious, the best I had in Bali. Fresh and healthy. Amar is close to the beach (5 minutes walk). And I had great massages there. This is the second time we stay in this hotel, and I appreciated to find this place « the same », with the same high level of quality and service.

Nothing to complain about!

The whole property is amazing. They have a water filtration system that filters everything, from the sink to the shower!!! And from staying at any other accommodation in Bali, this feels like bathing in heaven. The water pressure was better than what we have at home! The hotel is quiet and relaxing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. A short maybe 5 minute walk to the beach so I got a lot of surfing in, the ocean in Canggu feels pretty dirty so I can’t stress enough how nice that filtered shower is. Every single employee is so kind, the owners have really created a luxurious experience. I just wish I booked more nights here!

Filippa and her team are just wonderful and heartwarming people. Even upon arrival, the team sent us links and recommendations and phone numbers for reservations of superb restaurants and bars etc. around the corner. We also got a map of the area and the hotel itself was so clean and beautiful.

Great stay, very attentive staff and real boutique vibe. The owners super warm and welcoming, we travelled with our 2 year old and they set up a great comfy cot with soft toy and pillow. Excellent pool and inclusive breakfast too, will definitely come again if in Canggu.

I love the decor of this boutique hotel. The surrounding is quiet yet you can still enjoy lots of restaurants options by walking distance about 10-20mins. They only have 10 rooms so the pool side is always quiet and chill which is different from those hotels with lots of guests. We didn’t have Grab app in our first night but the staff was extrey helpful to get us rides. Room was clean and cozy. Very Bali style!

Nothing I didn't like about the hotel, enjoyed the breakfast, staff, hosts, location and design.

Bali, and specifically Canggu, can be hectic at the best of times, but stepping through the wooden doors of Amar you were immediately in a place of tranquility and comfort. Filipa was a wonderful host that made sure we were as well informed as we could be (as first time visitors to Bali) and gave us so many great tips and advice to make our stay enjoyable. Location couldn't be better just two minutes walk to Echo Beach which has so many places to chill, eat and drink, or try a bit of surfing.
