Very beautiful place to stay and relax. The staff is very friendly and helps you with any request you have. Slept so well because it is quiet and there is a nice breeze at night.

Some piece of soap and gel should be good to put in the bathroom.

Before you book have to know what is hotel and what is homestay - bamboo hut. And then all will be good. We liked our stay with family, nice people. Tasty breakfast cooked by Lis, we ordered few times also dinner. And cheap. Green canyon tour organised by Sutar was exciting. Beautiful nature around, pond with waterlilies.

i had a beautiful stay at Bale‘ku. It is run by a nice couple that takes care of everything for you. they helped me organize a tour and made sure I was sitting in the right Bus going to Yogyakarta. I felt very safe and comfortable staying with them as a female solo traveller :)

There is nothing I didn't like.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the huts are beautiful and very comfortable. The owners are amazing and organised a tour to the green canyon, which was out of this world. The food and service was also fantastic, I really didn't want to leave.

The location is perfect. The bungalows are so beautiful. And then there’s the view. 😍 The people are so helpful, every time we needed something they would help us with it. The food was delicious as well. Loved it here!

Wonderful, warm welcome and beautiful setting. The food is marvellous! The common area has lovely views o we the rice paddies and sits above a pond full of lilies. We had a lovely stay, with the owners being helpful and relaxed. A thoroughly charming place.

Every morning we got a breakfast with the best possible view; on the beautiful pond with big pink flowers. The hosts took us to the local independence parade and helped us around with organising a tour. The hosts are super lovely and we really hope to see them again. We can recommend this stay to everybody!

A great place to relax and unwind. Sutar and Lis were very kind and attentive to us. They also offered us a tour of the green canyon - it was very beautiful and interesting. Lis is a wonderful cook - the portions are very large and tasty and the food is varied. They also helped us with transportation arrangements. They were very attentive to our individual needs. Baleku has a great location: you can easily get to the beach and bars (about 20 minutes on foot or a few minutes by moped) and have a great view of the rice fields. At the same time you will not be disturbed by the noise of the road.

Very laid-back place surrounded by rice fields. Sutar and Liz are very welcoming hosts. The food was amazing, we ended up having all our diners there ! Scooters are available to rent and explore the surroundings (green valley, green canyon, batukaras, etc. are easily accessible), they also organized our taxi back to the train station early morning and prepared take-away breakfasts.

Lis and Sutar are super friendly. lis makes great pancakes for breakfast! Sutar is a super helpful and hospitable person .location is very relaxed with great views. good value for money.

Shower had only cold water which was fine but not advertised. Building material for renovation could be kept somewhere else.

Very good breakfast, Indonesian or European with beautifull view of the ricefields. Rooms are spacious and anti-mosquito netting was provided. Staff was very helpfull in arranging a tour, massage onsite and transport to next destination.

Our stay at Bale’ku was just fantastic. The owners were exceptionally kind and friendly, the bungalows were beautifully unique and the view was unmatched. Alongside the delicious breakfast, we ate dinner here every night and the food and service was top notch. We also can’t recommend the tour to the green valley and green canyon that Bale’ku organised for us enough - it was an amazing (if not exhausting!) full day out, and so reasonably priced. If you are planning on visiting Pangandaran, Bale’ku is absolutely the place to stay!
