Aron and his family provided us with a wonderful stay. The bungalow has a fantastic view directly out to sea. You jump into the water, swim 100m and find corals and a great variety of species. Around the bungalow we saw a wobbegong, an epaulette shark, reef sharks, turtles and starfish in the most colorful colors. Aron organized coconuts for us at our request, we were served delicious food directly on our terrace and went on many excursions to fantastic snorkeling spots. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Aron even organized ear drops from Waisai when we got an earache from diving and saved our vacation! Thank you so much for everything. It was an unforgettable vacation!

Thanks to Aron, the host, it was an exceptional experience during our stay. We've visited almost every location for snorkeling and diving on Raja Ampat (you should pay for the boat). We'd a very diverse menu and a true natural Papua environment.

The bathrooms, no running water is not for me. But to be expected in this area.

Aron’s bay is beautiful. It is remote and full of life. I laid in the hammock all afternoon and watched the fish and birds all around me. Linda who helps Aron run the place always has a smile and cooks great food. The bathrooms are what you would expect around here, dip Mandi and dip toilet. Not my favorite, but normal for the area. The bungalows are well built, but I run hot and I did find that I wish I had a battery operated fan. Aron took me on a snorkel tour to Arborek island. I saw so many fish! He is a great guide, we had a lot of fun.

A beautiful location. Rooms simple but clean. The family were very friendly and arranged boats and a snorkelling trip for us. We were fed very well!

Aron and his family is very very caring and kind. Gam Bay bungalow has only existed since summer 2023, so we were some of the first guests at this homestay. The bungalow is small and cute and has one double bed and a small table. The bathroom offers bucket showering beside the toilet. The bay is beautiful at high tide but not the nicest at low tide, as in many other places. The reef was good outside the bay. The food at this homestay is excellent! We can highly recommend this homestay!

    - the food was kind of the same for every meal - we would have appreciated it more if there was more consideration for privacy. It's generally customary to knock or request permission before entering a guest's room

    - the view from the terrace was great - bed was comfy - we got a hammock after asking for it - the houses and facilitys were well made and something different to what we saw before in raja ampat - we had a table and two chairs on the terrace - snorkeling was quite cool, the corals were beautiful and very unique - the owner was very friendly and we had some nice chats If you have a drone, fly it! The view over the islands is as beautiful as Piaynemo

I stayed in Gam Bay for 8 days with my family. The place is probably the most beautiful in Raja Ampat. It offers stunning views to the limestone islets and small bays nearby, as well as easy access to the coral reefs around the bungalows. There are plenty other points of interest like manta rays point, Arborek village and reef, mandarin fish or Jetty Bum nearby, which can be reached by boat. The small island is visited by different species of birds. Their song is the only sound in this very quiet place. Aron and his family are great hosts. They are very friendly and took care to provide us with everything we needed. They cooked us very good traditional food. They brought us with the boat to the best places around and snorkeled with us, to show the best things hidden in the reefs, like sea turtles, manta rays or lionfish. Snorkeling around the reefs, amazing sunset and sunrise, great night sky, this is how paradise is supposed to be.

Graffiti on the cliffs surrounding the homestay, there are ways to clean or cover them up very sad to see at such beautiful place. Reef nearest is starting to suffer, 1/8 a mile down the beach the coral Garden is absolutely stunning.

There were not many activities at this homestay. A SUP or kayak would have been great to explore the nearby islands. Otherwise you can walk out and snorkel on high tide.

Aaron and his family were amazing and very friendly. They took us on a great snorkelling trip to Arborek. The food and the room was great. Our favourite place was the hammock on the balcony!
