WiFi was a bit unstable but was taken care of and as long as you have a local sim it is a minor issue.

Gili Eco Villas is the definition of tranquility and serenity. The private villas are scattered around the compound which gives you the privacy you may be looking for at Gili. The additional visits of gekkos are a blessing. The villas are located on the north side of the island and in a fair distance from the party scene the island is known for. Yet Gili Trawangan has some nice options and traveling with kids the electric bikes were a great investment. The ENTIRE staff - from cleaning, gardener, reception, restaurant - were all truly A M A Z I N G, and they made their outmost to make the stay outstanding! So a huge shoutout to the people for being so attentive and genuine.

We were given a villa that didn’t feel like a nice location and it had uneven creaky floors with nails poking out. Maybe they are all like this. There was construction going on (there is a lot on the island, a little sad.)

Pretty beach area, good pool and manicured lawns. On the north side of the island so a little quieter! Great aircon.

Need jet shower or bidet for toilet. Air conditioner in upper floor was not quite cool, we were still sweating in the night. Luckily Wayan helped us by adding fans.

Location is great, staff are superb, especially Wayan.

wonderfull resort - luxury, but in a relaxed and perfect way. the bungalows are nice, the surroundings lovely, the good restaurant at the beach os amazing at nigt - and the staff is helpfull and always with a smile. Absolutely to be recommended.

When I asked to a guy from the staff about the last boat to go back to Bali he told me that there are no more boats and invited me to extend the stay in the hotel, but it was a lie. I think it’s not professional because we needed to go back to Bali but luckily we went to the harbor and we took the last boat.

The walk in to the villa is sandy, and there is no place for us to wash our feet before we enter our villa, so our villa’s floor also full of sand

wi-fi is slow. And no tv if you need it

We have extended again and again! First I have booked for 2 night, after that we didn't want to leave. It was a calm, beautiful, tasty, comfortable and safety after Bali. The right music during a breakfast and dinner. Staff in same suit looks fine. And they doing well. Beach for amazing snorkeling (better 200-400 m to the right). And there is not too windy in the evening like another side of the island. The garden make me calm and balanced while I'm slinging in hammock at the veranda. We was sleeping like a kitten about 10 hours every day, very comfy bed and pillows. We have stayed with a 5 yo daughter in two bedroom villa. Everything was fine and very beautiful. They are provide a very good restaurant. Everything was tasty, even a french fries😃. Breakfast by menu was fine as well. We ate only once outside. Beach beds, all furniture is very good and looks pretty. So, my family like this place so much, we have extend one and one more night. We have rented everything by hotel: snorkeling trip, horse riding, bicycle. I’m really glad to find this hotel.

We had a lovely family holiday at Gili Eco Villas. The cottages give it an authentic charm. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The food is delicious and nicely presented. The staff made the experience even more worthwhile. We were greeted with kindness and warm smiles throughout. Thank you Wayan, Fifi, the kitchen, restaurant and support team!
