How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Close to airport, easy for getting back to the airport the next morning when you are traveling between cities.

1. There were no slippers 2. There's damage in the shelf and it looked crumbled 3. There was neither offer for free wifi nor wake-up call 4. Despite having the free airport shuttle, the vehicles itself wasn't well maintained. It looked very old and made a lot of noise. 5. It was advertised that it'll only take 5 minutes to reach the airport but they didn't mention that 5 minutes was only for Terminal 1. It took 30 minutes to get to Terminal 3. This one is very risky considering people leaving from Terminal 3 might leave for international flights. Reception should've informed the guests to avoid them missing flights.
It's close to the airport, the pick-up teams were responsive, free water, sachet-sized toothpaste.

The walls are thin, so noise from the next rooms kept me awake till late. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken and had to wait for quite a while before it was resolved.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and bed is comfy. Best part is it's only a short drive to the airport.

Air Conditioning - Not Close to cold enough Front Desk Stuff - Struggle to understand simple English Rooms - whatever your next door neighbour does, you can hear everything. Walls have zero insulation

There were mosquitos in the room- I would recommend visitors request that the room be sprayed before their stay as it's just a reality in the wet season here!
The hotel is very close to the airport. When the shuttle back to the airport was full after my stay, another shuttle was organised immediately to transport the remaining passengers- very grateful for this!

AC was weak in rooms, no AC at all in the fitness centre (and both treadmills were either not working or needed maintenance), and the rooms were not as clean or modern as most other Ibis properties I've stayed at.

There were mosquitos in my room and my legs got bitten badly. However, no pets were allowed in the hotel, which made us find a more suitable accommodation for our extended stay in Jakarta.
Very friendly staff, closeness to the airport, great breakfast buffet that started at 3am.

Several parts of the room I was looked rusted and didn’t look clean. The phone didn’t work in my room and there wasn’t a replacement during my stay. The lights have to be on for the power sockets to work, so it was not possible to charge electronics overnight
The staff were helpful when my keycard didn’t work, and quickly rebooked me to another room. It’s also got good wifi and a free airport shuttle which is handy

Staying there because of the location - literally a short ride to the airport. They have taxi on site, cheap rate, and 5 mins later you're already at the airport.

It's basic. Not really a dislike.
Near the airport. Great if you have an overnight transit. Room was clean. It was quiet. There's a minimart next door. There's also local padang food next door as well.

The walls and doors are not sound proof. I can hear the people speaking out side the room while i am in my bed.

The fitness room lacked material but it was ok in general. The breakfast was ok but not much variety.
The spacious room with views to the pool and the quiet pool. Breakfast open from 3am to 10am.
