How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The swimming pool was undergoing renovation but we weren't told this in advance, nor at checkin, so we got ready and dressed to go down to use it but realised it wasn't in use! The drinks and dinner were also quite expensive.
The long available hours for massage were well received. The room was nice and spacious, for the price. The amentiies in the room were good, there were enough towels and shampoo etc. Location was fine, about 10 - 15mins from the airport.

The frequence of the shuttle could be improved, in particular in the early morning. The staff disappeared in the middle of the night, we had to wait long time before to check in.
Breakfast was pretty ok, a quite wide choice. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Our experience at Ibis style Jakarta airport started poorly. We spend a lot of time trying to find the shuttle stop. At the end we gave up. We opt for a taxi that luckily cost less than 50000 IDR. But be careful of all the people who propose to you one. It's a kind of private taxi that they give to you at 200.000IDR negotiable to 120000 but still, better a public taxi. Going to the airport we didn't have any problems. However the shuttle thing has to be improved. The check-in was ok, the deluxe room are spacious and nice but on the highway side so they are noisy. We should have upgraded. However it is clean, even if it could be better. The restaurant at night is a bit miserable even if the food was decent. The breakfast was good, we enjoyed it. Overall we will recommend this ibis, the personnel was very helpful and friendly. But be aware that when you're there, there is nothing else around, you're stuck at the hotel.

I stayed twice at the hotel and in different rooms and both times the AC did not work as expected.
The location,transfer service and the breakfast.

that there was no shuttle service to our late arrival, also that there were no swimming possibilities due to the renovation. this was not specified when booking. Normally this is not a problem, but because we travel with students, this was the reason to book at Ibis

The corridor is noisy.
It’s quite near the airport & they provide free shuttle to airport. However, please check your flight time first, because though it is near (5mins distance), you’ll need 15-30mnt to airport depending which terminal you need to get off.

The ac in the room was not strong we were not comfortable and we could not open the windows .otherwise it was an ok hotel close to the airports it provided our needs during our stay.

swimming pool is closing much too early at 6PM why not 9PM it is enclosed in hotel Towels for swimming pool not so easaly available reception staff not all helpful ( depending whom was there-). eg when asking what is the cost to go to city one said you have to stop yourself a taxi and negociate !!! ( real price less than 200IDR in ). The hotel encourage me to take private car at IDR what we rejected to get a blue bird cab....
The staff in bar / restaurant ) was very friendly shuttle every second hour to airport

my room was not cleaned, as I found an open soap box that was not cleared , hope it is only the floor that was not cleaned. restaurant was not open when I arrived during lunch time, so I had to wait to 3Pm to order room service

Really noisy bedroom due to construction site next door and room was not clean at all. I opened the curtains and it was so filthy. In addition there were cockroaches in the room. Wouldn’t expect this of an ibis.
The staff were fantastic- friendly and helpful. Good location to the airport

- I chose this hotel for the location near the airport and the shuttle they have. But : Impossible to get information about the shuttle that goes from the airport to the hotel. No one answered my messages. Had to pay a taxi at a high price to go there in the end. The shuttle to go to the airport in the morning was ok. - Weird smell in the room, that you wouldn’t expect in this kind of hotel

The hotel isn't at the airport, nor is it a walking distance from it. You will most likely have to take a taxi to get to it.
The staff was nice and there is a free shuttle organized to all of the airport Terminals. You have to tell the staff in advance which shuttle do you want to go on though, and not just show up. Also, make sure to know which terminal your flight leaves from.

The property itself smelled damp, and our sheets didn’t smell fresh (perhaps like they were unused in a damp space for a while).
Great buffet and close to the airport. Agne staff were really friendly and helpful.
