We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeOne small issue is that working desk plugs were too deep for some bigger chargers like Apple MacBook. Luckily i had an adaptor that i used to protrude it out.
No complaints for a regular 5 star hotel stayer. Staff were great. I loved the peace and quite due to the non peak hours and loved the exceptionally big and spacious room meant for 2 pax. With the balcony area? Wonderful!

All was fine at the end but the hotel should have checked the room before our arrival to avoid our inconvenience. The hotel had been neglected due to closure during pandemic.

IndonesiaThe gardens and ponds were not well maintained, making the hotel look run down. The metal screens in the terrace were also not well maintained, looking a bit rusty. Palm trees in front of room obstructed the ocean view The lighting in the room could be brighter. Service seemed under-staffed at concierge/ front lobby. Main restaurant also not operating. Breakfast at Pier 8 is not at the quality and variety expected and compared to the Hyatt and Maya. No mini bar and limited room service. The beach area is not really swimmable, as there are too many boats moored in front of the hotel. And the beach area was quite dirty. Quite unfortunate for a beach resort. Toilet for pool area is rather far /not convenient....esp. when still wet and having to go throught the cafe area and down stairs.
The rooms were lovely and spacious. Fabulous pool.

AustraliaThis is just a minor detail which I’m sure will be rectified over the next few months as tourism increases… This was previously The Fairmont and has only recently been taken over by Intercontinental. There is still some visible wear and tear in the rooms that is not up to the usual Intercontinental standard.
great hotel located right on the beachfront. surrounded by fantastic restaurants. The pool is huge and has 2 shaded areas so you can enjoy the pool without getting sunburnt. The suites are very large and tastefully furnished.

IndonesiaDuring my stay, the hotel ran only about 50% of its facilities, the landscape was poorly maintained since they recently operates the hotel after long closure due to pandemic.
The location is centrally located in Sanur area, close to restaurants, cafes, shops. The hotel sits right in front of Sanur beach and you can almost consider it as private beach. Room is huge since I got free upgraded to a signature spa suite.

I ended up spending most of my time at the Mecure on their sun lounges and going to cool off in their pools until I got kicked out. You can swim in the beach up that way. Would never stay here again!! Def not recommended especially for the price!!
