Wonderful Kampuak Cottages with a garden and pool. The owners, Suweta and Putu, were great hosts. They made us feel like family, asking how our trip from Bali was, where we were planning to visit on the island, giving advice on the best places to see and recommending tours, they also rent motorbikes at the cottage. The room was nice and clean with a great shower and bath if required. The pool was just what we needed after a hot day exploring the island. Breakfast was one choice of four dishes daily and eaten at a convenient time. Definitely recommend a stay at their cottages when visiting Nusa Penida.

The hosts were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, they said they wanted the accommodation to feel like our home and it certainly did! They helped us sort out taxis to and from the port and gave us lots of great recommendations. A lovely pool with fantastic views in a quiet area in the hills. The room was really spacious and comfortable. I would recommend hiring a scooter which is provided by the hosts so you can explore the island as there’s many places nearby. I would highly recommend, especially due to the hospitality :)

Our most favorite stay in our 3 week Bali/Nusa journey. The hosts Wayan and Putu are so friendly and helpful, they helped us to get from the ferry to the appartement. They booked a very good snorkeling excursion for us and we got a better price. They also rent scooters for a good price. The rooms are very comfortable and the locations is perfect to explore Nusa. We highly recommend the Kampuak Cottages

Furniture, sink and bath is older. Pictures of room are unfortunately better than in reality, but kindness of owners makes you feel like in home.

Owners are very friendly and helpful with everything: boat’s tickets, scooter, local tips. View is spectacular. You can enjoy silence here. Warung Nana near is the best.

The room(s) have seen some years but are kept very tidy. Nothing that makes the stay less enjoyable but do not expect new, polished interior/appliances.

Wayan and Puru are super lovely and friendly host, helping in arranging any kind of trip one is planning, giving you a lift to/from the harbour if needed (for a small fee) and making sure the stay is as perfect as it could be. We would definitely stay again. Close by Warungs with good food (Streerfood; Nana)

We had the pleasure of staying at Wayan and Putu's Homestay in Nusa Penida and it was a truly lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with warm smiles and made us feel like part of their family. Their helpful tips and advice on exploring the island made our trip even more enjoyable, ensuring we avoided any unnecessary unpleasantness. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere of their home stay made it feel like a second home. This was an absolutely amazing stay. I loved everything about my room. The bed was very comfortable, had AC and the bathroom was large. Everything was clean and spotless. The view in the morning and evening from the room is like from instagram- was so pretty. Putu and Wayan (married couple that run this place) were so lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. The breakfast was delicious- the eggs were so tasty. I’m so sad that I was only here for 1 night. Will hopefully come back soon and properly explore Nusa Penida and enjoy this apartment again.

We had the most incredible stay with Putu and Wayan in Nusa Penida. We already knew that the people of Indonesia are fantastic, but over here they take hospitality to an even higher level. Their unparalleled hospitality made our 4-night stay feel like a second home. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. They provided helpful recommendations, prepared delicious breakfasts, arranged trips and transport, and shared insights into the local culture and ceremonies. The room was clean and cozy, and their genuine kindness made this experience unforgettable. The stargazing we did with Putu (there was a meteor shower the other night, so Putu turned off the lights outside) really was a moment of joy. If you're seeking a heartwarming and memorable stay in Nusa Penida, look no further. Putu and Wayan are simply the best. Highly recommended and we hope to come back one day!

Everything about our stay at Kampuak Cottages was perfect. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and spacious, and had all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay (fridge, kettle, tea/coffee replenished each day). The pool and loungers is a superb area to relax and enjoy the beautiful view, and there are only 3 cottages on the property so it felt quiet and serene throughout our whole stay. You can rent a moped for 70kRp a day and there are great restaurants in walking distance from the property. Lastly but most importantly, the hospitality provided by the hosts, Wayan and Putu, is second to none. They instantly made us feel welcome and at home - always offering to help us (whether picking us up from the port, organising ferry tickets, etc), cooking delicious breakfasts and sharing invaluable local wisdom about what to see on Nusa Penida and when to go to avoid big crowds. Their kindness and generosity is a big factor in what makes Kampuak Cottages a remarkable place to stay. We can’t wait to return one day in the future!

The hosts are very familiar and can help with everything what you need. Pick-up/Drop/off at the harbour, booking ferry tickets, ordering food... Also you can rent scooters from them for a ver good price. However, these scooters are not "brand-new". If you are traveling on budget, this is perfect.

Breakfast was just what we needed to start the day. Hosts were extremely helpful with transport, activities and food recommendations. We were able to hire scooters from them to get around the island. They treated us like family and always had our best interests at heart. 🥰🙌🏼

We spent two nights at Kampuak cottages and we we’re in love with the authentic experience there. Wayan and Putu were so caring and helpful. They made sure felt well at all times. They provided us with a motorbike and gave us advice about the sites that are worth seeing on the island. Everything was clean as well. Loved it here and recommend it with all of our heart ❤️

We stayed at Kampuak Cottages during our trip through Indonesia my I cannot recommend the place of this lovely family enough! The owners warm hospitality make you feel at home and thoroughly enjoying your time! The cottages are super cozy, well located, very clean and in a peaceful environment. They supported us to plan our trip around the island, booked our snorkeling tour & ferry tickets. Further the location is great, to reach all hotspots on the islands and you even have really good restaurants around. I would recommend to everyone to stay at this wonderful place!
