Putu is a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in his home ❤️ The rooms are spacious, the view is stunning, it is clean and comfortable. The location is also perfect, walking distance to many small warungs when you’re hungry. He even made sure we took an umbrella with us when we left for dinner in the evenings 😌 Thank you Putu for everything 🙏🏼

Road noise was a little loud, but to be expected since hotel was on main road.

Breakfast of pancake and fruit was good. Lovely view over gardens and mountain view. Short stroll to good warungs. Putu was very helpful with suggestions of where to eat, and info about nearby waterfalls, all of which were very impressive.

All the family in this homestay are the most lovely people!! When I was ill they were very generous to offer trips to the pharmacy or takeaway food. The breakfast either nasi goreng or pancakes was delightful. One of the best showers I’ve had in Indonesia and the bed was super comfortable, rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Top views from the room in lovely garden setting. Free water refills, Walking distance to great Warungs and lovely waterfalls. Helped arrange onward travel too.

This is a lovely place to stay. The scenery is breathtaking. The owner organised a driver for us which was great. You can do lots of hikes to waterfalls from the property independently. Lots of great restaurants nearby to watch the amazing sunsets. Get there early as they get really busy.xx

Almost in the center by the main road. Got a room facing the pleasant garden on the lowest floor by the back of the 3-storey hotel. It’s probably one of the 2 rooms least affected by the noisy daytime traffic. Good view at the spacious restaurant on the top floor, just by the roadside.

The staff were exceptional and couldn't have been more helpful. Anything I asked and they tried to help, and offered great local information. Munduk is a beautiful quiet area of Bali and has a great local atmosphere. I'll be back!

Loved the spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The view from the restaurant at sunset is something to see. Breakfast is simple Indonesian food but cooked well and very fresh. Host was so helpful with everything and really cared about everyone who stayed there. The waterfalls are within walking distance, along with rice paddy terraces, along with a selection of Warungs to eat out at - my favourite was Warung Genitri.

All of the noise from the main road and street dogs. Although this is something the hotel cannot control.

The view from the restuarant is incrediable. A great place to stay to get away from all the hussle and bussle of Ubud, Cenggu etc. The guesthouse is simple but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location in perfect for doing the Munduk waterfall trek and to use as a base to see more in the area. Putu Agus as a host was amazing, he was so friendly and contsatntly went out of his way to make sure the guests were happy. Unfortunately, while we were there our daughter fell sick and Puta helped us so much. He made arrangments for us to stay an extra two nights, cancelled all our onwards travel that had already been arranged and took my wife to the nearest town free of charge to buy medicine from the pharamacy. I really cannot thank Puta enough for all his kindness and help.

There were a lot of stairs, especially for a senior citizen.

The manager was extremely helpful. He gave us excellent recommendations for which trails and waterfalls would be best for our level of activity.

The mosquito nets around the bed are good but they could be cleaner as they were a bit stained. The restaurant is unfortunately still closed after Covid and only serves breakfast which is included in the room price. It‘s okay (basic Nasi Goreng which could be more tasteful and a fruit platter) and you get tea or Bali coffee with free refill which was nice.

Clean room with great private terrace and beautiful view. Large bathroom and great working shower: plenty of water pressure and hot water, one of the best showers I had on Bali! Helpful and friendly staff, made it easy going for the waterfall hiking tour on my own and arranged transport to my next accommodation without hesitation. Easy walking distance to a great restaurant (Warung Genitri which was recommend by the owner) with amazing sunset views. Make sure to go there early or reserve a table as it gets pretty busy during the sunset.

It's the second time we stayed at Karang Sari (first time was in 2018). The hosts are very friendly and breakfast and coffee are very nice! The rooms are a decent size and the view from the balcony is amazing. The bathroom is simple. It's certainly not a 4* hotel but you have everything you need. Would stay there again!
