One of the best places I have stayed . It was my birthday and also engaged day when we stayed there and I couldn’t be more happy with everything this amazing hotel has. My partner organise a surprise balloons and a cake and the hotel did the best job at making it all pretty. Next day for breakfast I had the staff coming to my table with another cake singing happy birthday. I’m so happy that we chose to stay here , thank you so much to everyone for helping making my day to be unforgettable. I will 100% come back.

Finding drivers and taxis is difficult. Having an app such Grab is very helpful as many people do not speak English.

Ketapang Indah Hotel is a lovely hotel beautifully situated on the Straits . The views across to Bali are spectacular. Our room was very well appointed with a great bed an excellent bathroom, tea /coffee facilities, television etc. The hotel is set in extensive gardens which created a lovely atmosphere for their spectacular swimming pool and restaurant. We had many meals in the restaurant which were excellent and well priced. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and friendly. The hotel manager Mr Lucky arranged several day trips for us. We enjoyed travelling around Banguwangi exploring the envitons of the nearby volcano, visiting a coffee plantation, attending a wonderful traditional performance as well as enjoying a drink at the Yacht Club. Our driver Sahib was very enthusiastic and accommodating. These excursions were a highlight of our stay.

The room could use some minor decoration, it felt very empty. Also the joint walls in the courage need some soundproofing, because you can hear your neighbours.

The breakfast on the first day was excellent, but mediocre on the second day. The compound is very well maintained, perfect place to relax and recharge.

Actually nothing, wanna be back again.

Value for money. Very nice resort and nice staff. You can enjoy your breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel with a reasonable price and perfect environment. The swimming pool is big and nice. You cannot swim in the sea because it is not clean enough but you can enjoy the sunshine in the swimming pool. The room is clean and tidy.

There is a cement works up wind which sometimes you can hear/smell. The bathroom shower door did not seal well- flooding the bathroom floor.

The place looks like a park, beautiful palmtrees, really well kept and really nice spacious rooms. The staff is really friendly and the view of the sea with bali and the national park. Breakfast was amazing, the best I ever had, the selection and varieties of food is amazing, you have many choices. You can book the trips with them and the price was good. The pool was really nice as well. Very recommended.

It will be better if the room service telephone could be well connected, and offer better toothbrush& toothpaste, & independent towel for hand wash. And also with fridge will be better. And we hope the beach could be a place for swimming.

The room was very simply decorated, and a bit smelly

The resort is really beautiful, with beautiful trees flowers and gazebo. They feature a very nice swimming pool with sea view, a bar and a nice restaurant. The room was big and the bathroom comfortable ( in many hotels in Indonesia the shower didn’t feature a glas and the floor got flooded) Slippers and toothbrush came with the essentials

We had to pay extra to get 2 rooms next to each other, becareful when booking more than one room, make sure they are the same room type, otherwise it could be in different building.

Breakfast were lovely with amazing view. The view from the bedroom was breath taking, wish we could stay longer. I booked for 2 nights initially but had to make it shorter.

The perfect place from where to explore the wonderful Banyuwanji area, a stone's throw from Ijen, boat tours to Menjangan Island and many other fantastic places. The hotel is an oasis of calm and serenity in the middle of a beautiful and lush palms plantation facing the Bali strait. The rooms are beautiful, large, extremely clean and tastefully furnished and provide all the comforts. There is also a very nice restaurant where you'll be able to enjoy local (and international) delicacies straight on the ocean. The swimming pool is fantastic and offer incredible views on the strait. The staff is super professional and friendly.

Only downside is the beach, which is not maintained and therefore full of trash. Due to the currents swimming is not possible, however it would be still nice for a walk if it was clean.

lovely resort for relaxation. The garden with its tropical plants and palm trees is amazing, as is the pool. A tasty and varied Breakfast is served next to the seaside too. The cottage's furniture was already a bit dated, but very clean and neat, wouldn't mind. The staff members were all very helpful and friendly
