How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I usually like more green garden , there is a bit , but the building takes up most of the space.
The hotel provided free shuttle transport to the airport @ 5am with a breakfast take away box

I didn’t like that it’s outdated needs a fix up .
The staff were excellent, the facilities need to be updated and cleaned better . The breakfast was good and location good. The check in was great .

Leaking a/c. No beach access. Had a voucher for 15% off food, but I wasn't told we could use it at Matildas Sport Bar. No in-house restaurant. Left money at reception in an envelope for a supplier, an amount of the money was missing when the supplier collected the envelope.
A/C worked well. Pools and buffet breakfast are great. Bed is comfortable. Safe in room.

Building and furniture needs to be upgraded.
Various pools (with water basketball & volleyball); big restaurants and markets just outside. 5 minutes walk to Kuta beach.

As everyone mentioned it is part it's use by date and could do with renovations. However the property facilities on the outside like pool area etc are nice and make it worth while.
I choose this place for thr baby/kid facilities. Excellent breakfast.

No shade on balcony .
The staff were awesome every single one of them was so nice and there a lot . Rooms were very good my only problem was balcony had no shade .

The room is very outdated. Need refurbishment.
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It is very affordable if you consider the location, the amazing breakfast and the quality of service. Every moment was a delight there, especially at the swimming pool. Can't wait to return for another memorable experience!

They need to do more maintenance on the property

The laundry bill was 450000 rupiya for a small load .. although it costs only 50k outside. Felt like a ripoff.

I asked about the free shuttle the day before my arriving and got the message on WhatsApp it is to late to organise a driver. My room has not been cleaned and when I went back from a trip in the evening I found the written message under the door that I left the information" do not disturb" which one I did not leave.
It was a really nice time at your hotel. Breakfast amazing. Did not use a swimming pool. The room and the bathroom in Bali style, very comfortable but needs to be renovated. The staff very friendly and helpful. An amazing Balinese massage. Thank you very much.

Pool had a bit of a slimy feel on the walls. Beautiful pool but probably needs a good clean.
The staff were wonderful. Every interaction with the staff, they went above and beyond and always with a smile. Our daughter was sick on the day of our departure and they extended our room so she could rest in bed longer.

No direct access to beach. Staff not very well informed.
Lovely, large pool. Great air condition (family room 046), just a few steps away from the pool. Good breakfast range. Security staff at entrance were friendly at all times.

Room lights were hit and miss, some visible wear and tear nothing too major.
The pools and the beach bar are great, good location, they have complimentary, pickup and drop from the airport, the breakfast was good.

Having to change rooms late at night because of a noisy function outside our door. We didn’t arrive until after 10 pm. We changed to a room on the 3rd floor. All good.
Breakfast was the best we have had in Kuta - everything was delicious and tasty.
