Breakfast, during Ramadan, was a bit hit and miss. Coffee was on - or not - and frequently changed positions in the dining area. No useful napkins, which you had to hunt for. The service of alcohol at the poolside bar was problematic - payment was cash only (change had to be sought from front desk) and there were occasionally problems keeping track of exactly what had been consumed. And please spare us the virtue signalling of the "Save the Earth Hour" with notice only given that day.

Location was perfect for my purposes. Gym was actually a real gym, not a "pretend" gym. Pool was good. Poolside bar was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room facilities were a bit dated - but the toilets flushed, the lights worked, cable TV was on offer and the aircon cooled. Wifi was more than adequate. Room had a (small) safety box. Minor room defects were quickly fixed. No real cause for complaint.

The bathroom old but ok, but the bathtub not so nice. One cannot open the windows and fresh air only by aircon. The aircon is not adjustable , we tried two rooms. It is much too could. Adjust the degrees does not help. So you have to turn on and off all the time.

The friendliness of staff especially front desk. They could not be more helpful! The Breakfast was outstanding, we never had a better one and we travel a lot. The Pool very clean and sunbeds and chairs with shade.

While we appreciated the room upgrade, the location in the semi-basement with a view of the parking area was less than optimal and lacked appeal

The architectural ambiance and surroundings of the hotel were captivating. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist, providing warm and professional service. The spacious swimming pool offered an opportunity to relax and enjoy leisure time. The generously sized parking area proved to be a convenient amenity for those arriving by vehicle

Hotel is old, so everything is old Most dissapointment is the bed and pillow, very old, it feels like literally sleeping on a spring, cheap pillow doesnt support properly. Never wanna go back coz my priority is comfort bed 2star hotel like Assa in semarang provide much better bed

It's a heritage hotel. The bathroom fittings are vintage. We enjoyed it. Not for the fussy ones.

Excellent place. We had a wonderful time. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. We gave away our clothes for laundry by mistake, even though we had to leave early morning at 7am. When we informed the staff at 11pm the previous night, they got our clothes washed and neatly pressed within 30 minutes. Top class service!

Interieur was top notch decades ago. Spring mattresses was kind of saggy. Carpeted floor didn’t feel hygienic. Bad wifi connection at the room.

The room is extremely dark. The water from the tap for the wash basin is too hot. It was not possible to use only cold water.

My bedsheet and pillow cover have unpleasant smell. But very quickly the service staff changed the whole linen to a new one with no extra charges. Efficient. I just hope that they could pay extra attention to cleanliness of bed linen coz everything about the hotel was making me very happy except this one.

Staffs were super duper friendly and helpful from front office to service staffs. Huge room with super affordable price. Great variety of breakfast and very clean. Super clean toilet at the hotel lobby and overall the hotel smells amazing.
