We ordered some pretty standard Indonesian dishes for lunch at Tree Bar - chicken sate, soto ayam and nasi goreng - and were quite disappointed with the lack of fire and flavour. The kids had popcorn chicken, which was mostly batter. The complimentary snacks - curry samosas and ham & cheese sandwiches - were far better. As a result, we had to head out to look for lunch and dinner every day.

We stayed in a suite with direct access to the lagoon pool. Beautiful room, comfortable double-double beds that sleep 2 adults and 2 little kids. Spacious bathroom with both shower and long bath. There are three other pools, including a 0.4m wading pool for tots. We love the complimentary afternoon snacks offered at Tree Bar by the beach. This place transforms into a lively music bar at sunset. Grab a seat facing the sea for a spectacular view.

Pool was a bit cold, and felt like we were given the evil eye from other guests when the kids were playing. One day breakfast was very busy and I didn’t end up getting breakfast as it took too long. Nest suite bedrooms can accommodate 4 but beds are two doubles and a bit of a tight squeeze for 4 people.

Amazing attentive staff, always so polite and accommodating. Modern, very clean rooms. Lovely Indonesian and western food at the restaurant/bar. Great drinks/cocktail selection. Great position on the beach, able to walk everywhere.

There really wasn't anything we didn't like. If you are in a hurry for breakfast due to a tour, it opens at 7am, but you need to let them know you are in a hurry otherwise it can sometimes take a little while for it to come out (ordering a la carte).

The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were helpful and extremely polite. Our room was spacious, the pool area was great, especially the one off our room and the breakfasts were enjoyable.

The site being long and narrow means a lot of walking back and forth but it’s well designed.

Everything. The rooms are fabulous (we had a pool villa and 2 garden villas), the facilities are good, location in Sanur excellent and the staff fabulous. The WhatsApp concierge service as excellent. Widi, our appointed concierge was wonderful. Very high standard of service.

The resort was in a great location near shops, the port, and the airport. Service was incredible. The spa had great services and was reasonably priced. Most of all the property was beautiful, clean, with a great restaurant.

Located near various cafes and restaurants. Direct access to the beach front. Staff were always helpful and cheery no matter the time of day. Free afternoon tea every afternoon.

Some surfaces in the room had not been wiped. We couldn’t get our hot water to work properly so our shower was luke warm. As it was so hot we didn’t mind too much.

Food was really nice, the staff were amazing. Made us feel very welcome with our kids. The resort itself has lots of facilities and the scenery was beautiful.

The breakfast could have a bit more different juices and more options in cereals/yoghurts/veggies (for Scandinavian style breakfast). It was very good anyway!

The hotel was very nice, worked well for our family with small kids. The kids club was great (Thank you Unik, Asih, Lasmi and Linda! ), especially the sand pit playtime during breakfast (and relaxing morning coffee for parents). The staff was superfriendly, eg Rani at breakfast and during lunch the waiter (too bad I can't recall his name) made origami for the kids. I definitely recommend staying here!
