How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were allocated a room without a doorknob or door lock. The staff initially said they would get maintenance but we decided to have it swapped for another room as we didn't wanted to wait. The cleaning staff seemed to be super stressed, charged with their trolley the corridors. Bed linen were stained same as the shower floor. We requested a 3rd towel for my son and offered to collect this however in reception we were told it would be sent to our room, this never happened and we didn't.b9ther to remind them again. Overall it feels this building need maintenance and cleaning.
The pool, location and price were excellent. Perfect for a long layover in Jakarta. Tea and coffee in the bedroom is handy.

Needed more western foods for breakfast ie. cereal and milk. Airport shuttle not frequent enough - it runs every 2 or 3 hours needs to be hourly. The swimming pool needs some TLC, some of the tiles in the bottom of the pool are damaged/missing

closed pool :( also the hotel is clean but everything is just a bit old. just the towels were really in bad condition, they were washed but just too old with black stains. they really need replacement. ask the schedule for shuttle upfront before making your booking, because the early morning shuttle goes at the same time as the start of breakfast, that's a bit inconvenient (thankfully it was low season and the shuttle could wait a bit). shuttle does not go that often so it needs some planning from the traveller.
all in all fine for one night. the shuttle to the airport is convenient. the pool looked nice but was closed for maintenance. that was a big disappointment because it was not communicated, also not at check in. though I was compensated for that by the staff and that was very professional. the room is small but fairly clean, good aircon, television and the staff at reception and restaurant are truly wonderful. breakfast also nice. Great communication through what's app, als with pick up shuttle driver.

Bathroom door cannot lock, and smelly towel.

Pool area was missing any comfortable place to chill

Bathroom smell due to exhaust not working. Some provided facilities are broken and are covered in tape for temporary fix.

A little too dirty.
Free shuttle, but was impossible to find the car on the airport, we had to take a taxi. on the way back they took us for free.

I really not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with the family. Tired, old and the communication between staff is not connected. They gave me the wrong rooms and when I asked them to be as I ordered, it turned the GM has prepared for me but why the receptionist did not know anything? Facility wise, really 70s luxury
Only the price was attract me to book this hotel but end up rather spend another fiver or tenner to have the better one.
