Loves everything about this hotel, from the security,front desk, housekeeping, pool, the breakfast. Room is very clean, loves the hospitality. Will be back for sure.

Santika Malang was perfect for the purpose of our trip. The location is close to everything (it was a great location to leave from for the purpose of our Bromo tour). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our family loved the pool. Breakfast had a good selection of Indonesian and Continental options. Our highlight of the stay was the staff, who were always understanding and accommodating and who went above and beyond to improve our experience. Thank you so much to the concierge team, the reception team (thanks Mas Iwan for your Malang food recommendations and mba Dessy for all your help with our room) as well as room service and restaurant team (thank you Pak Ian for your help).

IndonesiaWhen I booked the hotel via booking.com, I received message from them that I need to pay at least for the first night in advance. It is not common when I used booking.com, because we have guarantee it with credit card and the hotel can deduct it directly from the card if there is a possibility of fraud. But I paid it by using my card A DAY BEFORE MY ARRIVAL. And when I arrived in Malang, the recepcionist did not mention anything to pay the rest of the bill (I stayed 4 nights). But then when I enjoy Malang in our first day, the hotel contacted me by phone and asked me to pay the bill. THIS IS INSANE! For the big name like Santika, they must treat guest with honor and trust, not like criminal who will try to steal from the hotel. And finally the hotel "steal" my money with their laundry service. I have sent 5 items to be laundried, and the total cost is Rp. 130.000 with a very bad result. They sent us the laundry in our last day before checck out, and it looks that they did not ironing our clothes. I have many times experiences to stay in Santika Hotel, and this is the worst.
The breakfast are not delicious. Yes, they have many kind of foods, but the taste is only average. Room is big, bigger than any other hotel in Malang area, but the floor tiles are very old. Some of their floor tiles are moving when I step on it. The view from my room is good, we can see pool and park, but the room itself will need to be renovated.

LithuaniaThe walls are very thin. We heard our laud neighbours. And sounds from mosque in the middle of the night. Not forget to bring earplugs. It would be great to have knives in the restaurant-will be much easier put the butter on the toast. Of course, it is possible to do with spoon:)
We had family room on 6th floor. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable beds, small balcony, refrigerator in the room. Very good breakfast-a lot of asian food, many fruits, eggs station, bakso and soto ayam. Nice swimming pool. We have used massage in the room-it was very good after few days of hiking. And not very expensive-210k:)
