My week long holiday at Villa Dua Buntang was one of the best, most relaxing and enjoyable holidays I had in a long time. The room was very comfortable and clean, having everything I needed for my stay. The whole property is beautifully nestled in the nature. It was very easy to communicate via messages, and organise transport from/to Denpasar airport. Most of all I appreciated attentive, kind and professional staff: Edi, Komong, Andrei, Gus... (I am sure I forgot someone, so apology for that!), who went over and above to make my stay amazing! The food was super tasty and the cook catered to my vegetarian diet. I used the pool and pampered myself with a massage. It was easy to organise visits to nearby attractions. I will definitely come again, thank you so much!!

The room was very light which is inconvenient with a 14 month old baby. As well as the location is a bit off the grid with a baby. There were a lot of ants in the room. We were not a big fan of the food in the restaurant.

Spacious room with a beautiful view. Very accommodating staff who found us a good driver to do a tour in the area. The pool is nice. In general we would definitely recommend the Munduk area to visit, very pretty and different than more crowded areas.

The villa warung food is varied but it's not as good as in other places during my 3 weeks trip in Bali, it's ok but you can try other local warungs around.

Room is amazing, king bed and a great rterrace with views to the nature. Personal are very attentive and they always help. We took a balinese massage in our room, and it was fantastic. Pool area is very good. Waterfall route just starts 10min walking from the Villa.

Family room feels very humid and slightly moldy smelling. The breakfast is ok, but other than that, the food is underwhelming.

I felt the location was quite isolated which means you had to eat at the hotel restaurant every day - the food was good but I would have liked to be closer to a few other options.

Very attentive staff, beautiful location, great guided tour of the waterfalls. My friend got sick during our stay and the staff went out of their way to assist us, even offering to take us to the next town to see the doctor.

Not something the hotel can do - the noises from roosters, some enthusiastic karaoke singers nearby in the evening and wood cutting chain saws at times can be a bit irritating.

The view was amazing and the infinity pool was a big plus in a hot afternoon. The hotel was close to the hiking trails to some beautiful waterfalls and the rice fields. The staff were friendly and the service was very good, a big thank you to Adi and Andreas for making our stay a memorable one.

it was quite remote so you depend on what the hotel can arrange for you in terms of transport and activities (all at extra cost). The activities/drivers they arranged for us were very nice!

JUST WOW!! Honestly from all the hotels we stayed in during 1 month in Indonesia - this was our favorite 😍😍 the hotel manager was the sweetest and helped us so much to organize tours. service is so important here and makes your stay AMAZING. they even cooked dinner at 10pm for us, brought us to the town, helped find dolphins tours, did laundry. … please go there to feel like home!

Beautiful room with a nice outdoor shower. We had an amazing view from the room and the big balcony. The place is quiet and the infinity pool unexpected. It was even better than the pictures. The staff are extraordinary kind and helpful. You feel so welcomed and as home. Well worth the price. The food was delicious, we had dinner there every night.

Breakfast was fabulous. Staff was exceptional. They even plucked some mangosteen from their tree for my dessert/breakfast when they learned I loved the fruit. I did two tours with Eddy who is also staff. We did the 3 waterfalls hike one day and the next day he took me by scooter to do the jungle hike and canoe trip across the lake, where he picked me up to return to the Villa. Eddy’s English is excellent so all my questions were answered. A charming, sincere young man. All staff is professional and do their best to provide a fabulous experience for guests.

The very narrow roads going to the property, although it is normal in Bali.

The place is beautiful. The staff were exceptional, all very helpful, nice and friendly. Many thanks to Adi, Gus. Edi, Komang, Handra. The Mangosteen tree on the property had a lot of fruits and we had our fill of the best, freshest Mangosteen.

The best and kindest staff ever. Really. So much humour and they were helpful with all our requests. Even driving us to Munduk Village on their motorbikes. Villa is beautifully located in Munduk in close proximity to the three waterfalls. Highly recommended.

The first night we found a few hairs in the bed, that were clearly not ours. The linnen was clean, but probably some hair survived the laundry machine. They cleaned the room every day, and the rest of our stay it was all properly clean! It was also sometimes a bit noisy in the morning, however, it wasn’t bothering us much + there were earplugs we could use if it would have been bothering too much.

The staff was really friendly, it was a small team/family, and it all felt very personal. They easily changed some food into vegan meals, and the food was really good. We also noticed that in previous reviews people were complaining about noise and insects. We immediately noticed that there was a new set of earplugs in the room, which we thought was very thoughtful. In the room were no insects at all, but in a different season it would have been good to have a mosquito net, as there was none. We really liked our room, it has a nice view over the valley and pool! The bathroom was nice, the shower was pleasant, and we enjoyed the experience of an outdoor shower! We were also grateful that they gave us some umbrellas to use, as during the rainy season the weather was sometimes a but unpredictable!
