Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaA little bit of TLC is required in the kids bunk bedroom and the toilet located on the 1st floor of the property. Besides this, due to where the property is located it welcomes a lot of insects and small reptiles like Gecko’s which is not too uncommon if you’ve visited Bali before.
Let me start off by saying that Hans and Maria are amazing hosts who are very welcoming, passionate and an excellent mother & son duo! Unlike what other reviewers have posted, this property is well maintained and is located in a very good location that’s close to shops, bars, restaurants & amazing beach clubs within walking distance. Morning breakfasts cooked by amazing Maria are to die for! Hans and Maria are very hard working and maintain the property to an excellent standard.

AustraliaBathrooms and rooms are due for some tlc, bedroom walls were water damaged and gave off a strong damp smell. Villa could use some more signage as all taxis and grab delivery drivers struggled to find it.
Han and the other onsite contact were lovely, helpful, easily contactable and cooked good breakfast.

Australiathe bathrooms and toilets were very dirty and smelt horrible, the two small bedrooms weren’t sealed properly and due to the heavy rain they had large amounts of water dripping onto the floor.
