The pool is at the bottom of the property so does not feel as open as other pools. There is also some noise until midnight from a nearby bar if they are playing live music

Really close to the centre of Ubud. Ubud centre is really really busy and noisy but this hotel was on a lovely quite patch. The staff were very friendly

The best thing about Villa Sunshine is the warm welcome and level of service that you will experience. The Villa is well located and easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, evening cultural events, shops, and rice paddy walks. The rooms are well appointed, spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The pool is a welcome oasis. So restful and calm; set deep in the cool greenery of the jungle. We all loved cooling off after a day of exploring. Breakfast is DELICIOUS and there is a superb variety. The homemade jam is worth the stay alone. The reception staff were knowledgable and helpful with our logistics. They organised several things for us and we were very grateful, including laundry that they sent out for us, and it was back within a day!

We were in Ubud for 3 nights. The hotel is very well located. In running distance to the center, but totally quiet. We had a very nice large room with great balcony. We felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. The bathroom was exceptional. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A clear recommendation

The location is excellent, in a quieter area but close to many restaurants and near the center. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The pool is beautiful and lots of sounds of nature around it.

Location was great- on a quiet street that still had plenty of shops and restaurants while the busier roads were just a few minutes away. Staff were lovely and eager to help with any queries. Hotel setting was very nice with lots of foliage.

Mosquitos in Ubud.

Great triple room (king size and single bed) with free water. Modern bathroom with two showers. Lovely pool in shade. Central Ubud, although it doesn’t feel like it. Very helpful staff.

They wanted to charge fee for paying with card-which is quite unusual these days and was not informed in advance.

Good location, abit hidden in a small lane but within a few steps, you got everything. Nice big trees and flowers in the garden Super nice staff-I love them Breakfast was excellent too

AC performance wasn’t ideal but I still enjoyed the room. They brought a technician but it didn’t really help.

You need to go there to see :) Amazing room, fantastic pool with a view to your own private jungle. Staff were incredibly helpful with booking activities.

there were some dead ants in the room which i told staff about, and they immediately cleaned it up and made sure it was sorted, so not too fussed about that !

the room was spacious, and relatively clean. very good price and location was amazing! it was close to everything we wanted to visit and most within walking distance. staff were very friendly, and helpful. pool is decent size and can do laps! breakfast was amazing and very yummy!

The location was close to the center, but we didn´t hear the noise from the main street. Breakfast selection was good, it was served on our balcony, water was provided in the room. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Only complaint is that room and especially bathroom lack fresh air.

Just ideal location a bit aside from the busy Ubud streets, but just short walk. Staff is really nice and welcoming. Room is big enough for 2 people. Very green and fresh territory. Charming small pool, almost always shadowed by trees, feels like you're swimming in the jungle.
