The mattress in room 201 need replaced to soft and worn feeling from them. Bar area shut to early at night for residents. Overheard the porter saying you could order a drink to the room not a good idea.

I liked the room it was a great size as was the bathroom. The restaurant bar area should have more separation between them. I liked the fact that you didn’t have to walk outside when going to the Theatre next door.

Absolutely nothing. It was excellent value for money .

Absolutely everyone who works in that hotel , are so customer based & nothing is too much trouble . Car parking is excellent. The room was clean, bright & so comfortable for our 4 night stay . The bed was so comfortable, just wish we could have had a lie-in. Breakfast delicious . We had dinner Monday evening & I would 110% recommend it, it was so well presented & the lamb was so tender, got to say the best meal we have had in ages. I would go back in a heartbeat .

There could have been more vegetarian and vegan options on the breakfast and dinner menus as I’m vegetarian but main eat vegan foods . So that would be my only thing I would say could have been better. I hope on my next visit I will see more options available to suit.

It was very well presented and exceptionally clean , the staff were friendly and very helpful and seemed interested in why I was staying there. The room was very spacious and fantastic value for money and I will be definitely stay there again in the very near future.

The waitress and waiters were very slow, weren’t very sure about things, the buffet breakfast was basic and not very hot, and the service in restaurant for dinner and Sunday lunch was extremely slow, as a chef myself I was wondering what took so long eg dinner we waiting half hour and my husband’s steak came out rare when he asked for medium and the Sunday lunch we had to rush the food and it was lovely but took 25 minutes to come out after we ordered

We paid for a deluxe room but the shower/ bath mixer had no cold water,so we had to wash in the sink or be scolded,as I am slightly disabled. I reported it to the reception as we were going out . Subsequently the next morning, we had another sink wash, as obviously we couldn't take the chance of getting scolded again,when we were checking out,the reception informed us that they had it fixed when we were out,but never told us. I asked for a refund on our room because of this and the duty manager offered me a 50 euro refund,which I'm still waiting for. Also, I have a blue badge disabled sticker on my car and for convenience I parked in one of the two disabled parking bays in front of reception. On arriving back on Saturday evening,there were two cars without disabled parking permits parked there ,so I parked just in front as I was only stopping to pick up some rain gear. The receptionist came out from her desk and in front of all the people sitting in the lobby, asked me not to park there as there was a bus due in,and could I park on the 2nd storey of their carpark which was free for guests. I had no problem with this request as such, as I was illegally parking in the bus parking bay ,except in the manner it was fine and also that the cars illegally parked in the disabled bay weren't moved, warned with notes on their windshield or clamped. Bar is very boring. It didn't spoil a great weekend in Castlebar or Mayo

Everything was a 100%, so no dislikes whatsoever.
