The kids would have enjoyed more variety at breakfast, but we were down a little late, I think. Breakfast was from 8-10, when we came down about 9:30 the selection was a bit bare.

The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed talking to the bartender. The front desk was very helpful when my son deactivated his key several times.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was great value given the expensive prices of the hotels in Westport which is only 10km up the road.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was well appointed and had a nice view of the town. A substantial cold buffet was included in price and served for breakfast, it was very good.

Hotel is in a lovely village that has a playground, which the kids loved, cafes, shops, chip shop, walk ways. Family room was a good size, really liked the layout of the room. Hotel was very clean, quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and large bathroom with bath. We had dinner one night in the restaurant, food was lovely and staff were very friendly and gave kids colouring to keep them busy. Large selection of cold breakfast only(can get hot breakfast in cafe next door)Less than 10 mins from westport town. Parking outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel

I would prefer a good all in shower to an hour ver bath set up with shower curtain.

We didn't realise a breakfast was included so we were pleasantly surprised. Continental style - fine. Good quality, fresh pastries and croissants - wide selection and plenty to satisfy. Pleasant environment

The shower pressure wasn’t great and there was no hot breakfast which we were aware of while booking.

The room was very comfortable and big. The location was perfect for us as we spent most of our time in Achill. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The fresh croissants at breakfast were delicious.

Hotel is located rght in the middle of Newport and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The room was so clean and spacious! Breakfast was included with our room at a very reasonable price. Overall I would definitely stay in the Newport Hotel again.
