How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There is a restaurant below, same as breakfast area, it. An be loud, placing a door bow stairs that cut the noise would be a big help Rooms are original decorated but need to be refresh, paint and the bathroom needs a deep scrub Breakfast eggs/bread/salad and some spreads…. After 3 days it’s boring
Cute hotel on the seaside with a small terrace looking out to the beach Room was quite large, fridge, table and bathroom. Needs some update and deep cleaning breakfast team is nice, little variety but fresh and from 9-12

Best location ever, in front of the beach. The bedroom was nice, quite small but you don’t need more, a comfortable bed and a good restroom. You can enjoy your breakfast in the restaurant with a view. If I’ve the opportunity to visit Tel Aviv again, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

A very dirty hotel and room, there was a lot of foreign hair on the bed, it was rumpled, as if someone had sat or lay on it before us, and the TV was turned off, as if someone had watched it before we arrived. the door to the toilet did not close, the floor in the room was swollen and damaged. The staff didn't have enough bed linen to change it. there was bed linen lying on the stairs - dirty or clean - unknown

I liked everything, nothing I would change
Just to state, this hotel exceeds your expectations in every way ranging from the facilities to the staff. The staff are truly tremendous who go above and beyond to make your stay as good as the location it is in. The breakfast is so good and the timings are quite flexible. The value for money is exceptional. I wouldn't stay in any other location in Tel Aviv.

Nothing realy, the place looks sketchy, the design looks a little different from the photos on the site. It was very dirty, the floor in our room came out, it cost us about 800 Shekels for one night in a slam. The only good thing about that place was the man who helped us with all we needed, he was very nice. Would not go back, Me and my husband tryed to be out of the hotel and explore Tel aviv because we didn't want to spend much time there.

Thank you very much. We will come back again. It was a pleasure to stay with you. You were kind and nice to us, you helped us a lot. The hotel is next to the sea, a small boutique hotel, not a big one, but the staff is nice and that's important. There is Netflix in the room and it was not noisy. There is a cute bar downstairs with drinks. It was a really fun evening

A very nice hotel very close to the sea and the rest of the center in Tel Aviv. The hotel employees are very nice. The room was to our satisfaction. They took care of everything we asked for. The hotel is close to the Dizengoff Center shopping center and the Tel Aviv port. To the shores of Gordon Bogershov Frishman was great

I arrived at the hotel with my partner, they received us nicely and were kind and offered coffee at the reception. The room was clean and close to the sea. The location is perfect. Everything worked great

Comfortable hotel. very close to the sea. The staff at the hotel are nice. I am disabled and the hotel suited my needs in terms of accessibility. I got the 1st floor because I can't climb the stairs. Everything was clean and they provided me with everything I asked for. I really liked the service and will be back soon again
