Due to current situation in the area (war/conflict) I had to stay on night less and request a reimbursement/refund. I was not given. I think they could have been flexible on that, considering all the situation.

I found a number of cigarette butts in the flower-pot and usually some hair after cleaning, that not belonged to me.

The hotel is in a good location. Shops, old town is nearby. The breakfast was marvelous. The gym is well equipped. The room is big enough. The staff was helpful and very kind.

TV didn't work

Hajar and her colleague at the frontdesk were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. Palestinian breakfast was good and with a nice view. Location: a short walk away from Damascus gate. Will definitely come back

I booked a family reception lady gave a very small room. My brother had same size room as mine and he was one person and i was 5 with my kids. The reception lady informed all the rooms are same size. A cleaner was cleaning another room and i had a look at it and realized all the rooms are not same size. I asked for a bigger room as my booking showed 2 adults and 2 kids in a family then the reception lady asked me to see another room which was bigger. Eventually i took the bigger room. I was unhappy as the reception lady lied to me about all the rooms been the same size and did not want to give me the bigger room when i checked in and i had informed her i had family room. To me she was dishonest and i think she gave my room to my family member as he his booking was not a family room and she taught she would swop the rooms and get away with it. There's also no ramp for strollers or wheelchairs which is unacceptable.

There wasn't much to dislike. Just be aware that some of the furniture in the room and equipment in the bathroom may look just a little tired and worn. But the combination of cleanliness, price, friendliness of the staff, and location more than makes up for that.

Breakfast was lovely. I appreciate that, while it was Ramadan and very few people actually had breakfast, there were still quite a number of good breakfast options available. The breakfast room, on the fourth floor, gives a great view of the city. My hotel room was spacious and opened onto a sort of balcony/court yard. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The overall hotel is very pretty and located well, just one street down from the New Gate just outside the old town and about a ten-minute walk from the bus station at Damascus Gate.

Electric outlet I didn’t see any so I used the one for the mini fridge since I didn’t use it and was empty… but maybe I missed it

I went twice this year and each time the service was good. It's well located. The rooms are spacious and have all the basic amenities. The breakfast is very good. In December 2023 when we went, even though there was a huge drop in its guests for dinner, around 12 people, the staff did its best to provide us with a cute and tasty buffet.

Nothing that I can remember

The people, the place, the service. There is a lady (Hayat) and two gentlemen (Laith and Sami), that i really like to thank them. They were very cooperative and supportive.

The check-in took a little more than expected but the staff (the receptionists Sondos and Hayat & the housekeeper Rami) cared to give us clean comfort rooms eventually, one of the rooms was a little small but we went to the reception and soon enough they switched our room to a bigger and better room!

The hotel is close to everything, 10 minutes walking to the mosque and the old city, you can rent a baggie too! many shops in the same street, so much restaurants & coffee shops that are clean with a good price and tasty food. We only had breakfast at the hotel; it was good enough though. We mainly went to the old city but the bus station and the train station are close too, if you want to go to the city center (it takes 15-20 minutes). If you have a car, there’re parking lots in the hotel and around.
