Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe receptionist with long hair is very rude. Luckily his colleagues are friendly. A movement sensor in the rooms turns off electricity when you are not moving, including air conditioning. Thus you may wake up at night sweating because the air conditioning was turned off against your will.
It is a great hotel in the perfect location. It's clean, decorated with style and great pop rock music is played in the common areas. The roof terrace is beautiful. Really recommended.

NetherlandsThere was construction work going on in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel which caused a lot of noise too early in the mornings.

United StatesThe check in to be early or options to get in earlier. Thanks
The check on was later so I had to go in the city with one of my bags and carry it around...didn't have the chabce to get a shower after my long flight very uncomfortable... the shower was very strange, the doors of the shower had cracks that would let water slide under it would spread in the whole bathroom. The kitchen was very good everything I needed, the room was spacious, cozy, loved the bed.The street was very noisy, and is 15 to 20 min walk from the main beach from Tel aviv.

AustraliaOther than Solomon, staff were not very friendly or obliging. Music in reception was always blaring and the staff were not able to decrease the volume as it was apparently controlled externally. Other than that being an unsafe workplace for staff (being exposed to blaring music in a very small space for an 8 hour shift) it was difficult to communicate with the staff above the music.
We stayed in a studio and it was spacious. The position was excellent. The decor was fun.

SwitzerlandThere is nothing to mention.
Great location right on Dizengoff street, at the crossing with Gordon street and with very friendly staff. Usually I stay in larger apartments when in Tel Aviv, but I realized this size was just perfect, especially considering the roomy bathroom I had. And several times I made use of the rooftop terrace to get a few quiet moments to read, just amazing.

GermanyAs I said, central location in Tel Aviv has its merits, but the noise was a real issue. The noise was almost constant, 24/7, and as my window was towards the main street, it was very hard to ignore. That said, I still highly recommend the hotel!
The location is super central, which is also a disadvantage. I actually spent a lot of time inside the room because it was super hot and sunny outside, but I had a comfortable bed, AC (which was essential) and a cable TV (not for Netflix though). Not always there was someone in the reception area, but they communicated very fast with wtapp. They also provide a taxi service from and to the airport - the drivers are very nice, and can help with other rides, including the weekend (and in reasonable price! which was huge help for me, since I had no car and there is no public transportation on the weekend). I knew the price ahead, and since Israeli taxi drivers can be... tricky with airport rides, that made things much easier and I knew I can trust them. Overall, highly recommended!

United StatesRoom would be tight for more than one person, constantly hitting against furniture in the room. Pillows are tiny and uncomfortable. Bed is very much on the firm side of things. Room should have a peephole in the door for safety.
Great location near public transportation, short walk to the beach, and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. Room was decently sized and kitchen was sufficient. Great pressure on the shower.

CanadaThe room was to be cleaned every third day. I had my first cleaning after 5 days even after leaving the housekeeping request on the door daily. After notifying the front desk. they did send someone to clean. It was well done on that occasion. Then another time I left my room , as the cleaner entered it .I came back in half an hour to find the room cleaner sitting in my room at my computer table on her phone with my door closed. I came into the room to use the facilities , she left. Ten miniutes later she entered the room again, still on her phone , while I was using the facility .She left again .The room had not been cleaned in that time whatsoever. I left again . It took another 40 minutes to have the room cleaned , and then still was missing new towels , floor mat and wash cloth. I sourced them myself later in the day.
Great location on busy Dizzengoff street. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and open bars. Grocery stores, juice bars. The room was small but comfortable, Great air conditioning, quiet .Nice roof terrace. Front desk staff was helpful .

United StatesLOVED IT!! 130 Rock was perfectly located - right Duzengoff st. near all restaurants, shops in both directions! AND RIGHT across a cross street to a wonderful coffee shop! It is a 10-15 min short walk to the beautiful beach! The room was spacious, clean and well equipped for comfort and ease. The roof top lounge was a great place to relax with family in other rooms, sharing food or wine. The staff was helpful, courteous, and very accommodating! The great songs played in the lobby are fun and uplifting. We had 4 rooms and 6 adults and we ALL loved 130 Rock - we would absolutely stay there again!

United StatesExtended family trip. Great place for everyone to be together bu gave their own space. The front desk staff was lovely. The place is exactly as it appears on the website. Perfectly clean, amazingly quiet, very comfortable beds, housekeeping every 2 to 3 days. Best location and fabulous value for the money. Two tips: 1. Play with the shower, there’s definitely hot water and lots of it, you just need to know what direction to turn the knob. 2. Don’t miss out on roof deck. Would highly recommend 130 Rock, and will return for sure. Special thanks to Frederick and Ofer.
