I stayed at the backpackers hostel for 4 nights and was made to feel very welcome by all the staff. They were professional and couteous particularly prince jacob who really went above and beyond to make my stay extra comfortable. Hes a really great guy and i appreciate all he did!

First room they showed to us had mold. No problem to change the room after requesting - that's a plus! Could improve cleaning as well.

Perfect location right next to the museum. The manager was very helpful, however the night guy wasn't very easy to communicate with. We got a free upgrade to the bigger room when our hot water wasn't working, which was nice. The rooms were comfy and clean.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Good location and walking distance to Golden Temple and major places of interest in Amritsar. AC and decent size clean room with private bathroom with a comfortable King size double bed. Will stay here if we visit Amritsar again in near future. Will recommend this accommodation to other visitors.

Wifi connectivity and speed can be better.

Great place for family and solo travellers. They have all the amenities including a functional kitchen for general use, wifi, geyser, bedding etc that too at a very nominal cost. Also, the manager and the night receptionist both are very helpful and always smiling. Make it feels like home

Signage needs to be improved. Though I was standing very near to the property I had to call the property to get the directions. The staff was helpful as they sent a help to pick up our luggage

The Property is very well located walking distance from the Golden temple which I was visiting. The property did not have its own parking but is located very near to the MCD parking which is in walking distance.

Backpacker’s Nest is very conveniently located. A leisurely 10-15 minute walk will take you past there Partition Museum, Heritage Street and the Golden Temple. We booked the family room. It was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 3. The biggest plus was the property manager Manju and her team who were approachable and really helpful!

Room only in house windows (though it said garden views). In general did not completely fulfill description. Felt kind of closed in. Sheets had stains (though seemed washed). No towel, at this price I always got towels at other places. No social vibe at all.

Great location. Size of the room. I could have breakfast on arrival date as I was leaving during the night and couldn't have it on check out date. Also staff seemed eager to get the room ready for me before check in time as I was sick. Could use the kitchen for tea water as well.

-We stayed two different times here and I one of the room really needed renovation because the walls were messy and the restroom could use some maintenance as well. Our second room was smaller but much cleaner and nicer looking. -The first time we stayed., there was no hot water, which seems to be the norm in india if you're staying at a budget place. Second time, the water was warmer but didn't get hot. -There was one night one of the staff was blasting music or movie/show? Not sure why he needs to have it on such a high volume when the place is quiet... lol

-Location was perfect. It really is closest you can get to the center for the low price. Right next to the Partition museum/plaza where you can access starbucks, nice restuarants, and cafes. Also, right next to the restaurant, Bharawan Da Dhaba Amritsar. I'm not joking, go and try the dali deals there. One of the best food I've had in my three weeks in india. -The owner and staff were very nice. They really make an effort to help you in your travels and sightseeing. She also has numbers of different tourist agencies and has number for the bus driver that takes tourists to the wagah border ceremony for a very very cheap price. -The rooms were very spacious and clean overall, the A/C was crucial for us because it was boiling hot when we went. It was working perfectly
