Missing some furniture in the rooms. On the pictures where chairs and table, but unfortunatley it was empty with just a bed. Some of the appliances were starting to fall apart. But thats all just normal. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Super friendly hosts. Just the most amazing people. Helpful in every possible way. Great breakfast. Best location to walk the ghats from start to finish. Good sized rooms.

Banaras guest house is definitely recommended. Most kind and helpful people around to provide hospitality. Located in best location. It feels home. Without even second thought book it. Naveen and Krishna are running a very nice guest house right around the corner of Assi Ghat. I had a very nice and warm welcome, also they help with whatever one needs. The decoration of the place is also very nice and the roof top terrasse is wonderful. I’m really looking forward to coming back to that place.

Wonderful place with such amazing and kind souls owning it. They are here for you and we had amazing moments, talks about Varanasi’s culture, life in itself. We loved our stay at Banaras Guest House ! It is located at a very nice and calm place (far from the crowds and noise) but also very central! Right in the heart of the city center, next to Assi Ghat. The hosts are amazing people ! Very nice and friendly they do everything to make you feel at home. The hostel space is quite nice ! Very nice decoration and environment! Rooms are spacious, nice and clean ! Very nice bathroom with a very nice hot shower! Rooftop is also very nice to rest & relax and have a good time ! Breakfast is very good too with an amazing massala chai (tea) that everyone wants to repeat !

We had a few interesting moments trying to adjust and operate the shower!

I stayed with my almost 4 year old daughter for 3 nights in the triple room. Room was great, super clean and I loved the balcony with a cold beer. Breakfast and chai on the rooftop was nice. Great laundry service. The highlight was definitely the lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us.

The owners are most helpful. Location is rite next to Assi ghat. Rooms are clean and tidy with all amenities. Great rooftop area to relax and have breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anybody.

Wonderful place! I've stayed here before, and when I was going to visit Varanasi again I definitely decided to stay here. After renovation the place became even more nicer, cosy rooms, very clean - the cleanest place in India I've ever stayed in:)))) it's in a calm corner close to Assi ghat, comfortable location for a tourist to have a good rest. Andvthe main thing about the place are the owners - nice family of great hospitality ready to help in every little thing! Definitely 5 stars and 100% recommended! Will come again!

Breakfast was basic but there are enough options for breakfast afterall it's Banaras :) Chai was good!

It's perfectly located 5 mins walk from Assi Ghat. Our room was clean, good in size and well ventilated which was a big plus. Bathroom is a bit small which didn't bother us. Naveen and Krishna bhaiya are kind and were always ready to give local tips. Art done on the walls of guest house are superb and gives a great vibe to the whole place. We loved our stay at Banaras Guest House and would be happy to recommend.

The family that manages it and lives on site is extremely attentive and helpful, in addition to the accommodation itself, they offer transfers by train or airport, tours such as boats, walking tours, guided tours and currency exchange. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was hot and the decor was cozy!

Very good location close to Assi Ghat, Main Street, restaurants. We ordered airport transfer which is the best decision. We enjoyed a lot staying with local family who take care of their guests. They trying to improve the hotel and keep it clean.
