The location is perfect, right at the center of the old town. We liked the traditional style of the hotel, and the staff is really competent.

We had an authentic experience staying at this very old haveli, and we appreciate how well they have maintained it. As the name suggests, the view of the castle (Mehrangarh Fort) at sunrise cannot be adequately described in words; it must be witnessed.

This place is an old Haveli. It is situated on top of an alleyway. The view of the fort from the rooftop is amazing. The fort is 6-7 mins walking from the place. The beds are really comfortable. The food is nice. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

it was not clean, there was dust on the furniture, there were no sheets for the bed, there were broken sanitary items in the shower. There is a heritage style, but there is no care and supervision..

Beautiful location with the roof top. Loved the cultural based theme of rooms by also keeping modern washrooms in mind. Looking forward to be back soon

It’s a little out of the way from the town centre. Staff very nice, but strangely unattentive in the restaurant

They did not have trash can in the room. Also, the rooms are not well insulated, but they fixed that for us by blocking the jaali. Ask for extra blanket!

The very narrow streets leading to the entrance and stairs were a struggle. The neighbourhood was filthy.

The entire hotel has its character and story, the decor adds to the whole appeal. The location is great if you wanted to stroll around the blue passages, however its situated at the back of the fort. The staff especially the young men who helped us with our bags and gave us extra sheets were very genuine with what they do.

The location is a bit inside the old town and doesn’t have any access through car, plus the streets are usually very crowded

Castle View Home Stay is a gem!! Situated in the old part of the city with stunning views of the Mehrangarh fort overlooking the city. The unobstructed view of the fort is unbeatable! It’s worth every penny. The hospitality is great, the staff is nice and they’ll go out of their way to help you in every possible way. Food is great and the ambience in the evening is quite relaxing. Special shout-out to Luv Saini the manager of the property for arranging a taxi for my trip to Jaisalmer and also sharing great tips on how to explore the city, places to eat and where to shop. They help in arranging pick up and drop to railway station and airport. So you need not to worry finding conveyance when you check-in or check-out. The access to Mehrangarh fort and Pachetia Hill is a short walk. Overall a great experience.

Room was in 2nd floor and we had to walk steep stairs 🙆‍♀️

Staff were really helpful and the room with terrace view of fort was great! Food at the rooftop restaurant was excellent 👌

The food at the home stay was not great.

The place had a great location with good service and friendly staff. However, accessibility could be a challenge for those with large bags or for elderly individuals, as transportation doesn't reach the doorstep and there are steep stairs.

Amazing view of the fort. Helpful staff. We stayed in the large suite and it was great. Loved the vibe of the place. Upon request, after our check-out, they moved us to another room and let us use it until it was time for our flight later in the afternoon.

Power didn’t work for a bit in the morning but was quickly fixed - breakfast also wasn’t my favourite (maybe personal preference though) but unreal views!!!

Commuting is a little challenging because it's in the old City. Only an auto rickshaw can come in.

It's a good property. The main fort is at a walkable distance. You can see the blue city view.
