Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyGreat Location, very near to train station. Very friendly personell. Breakfast options are simple but delicous. The room was clean and comfortable, not that spacey though. Hot water was working without greater problems. So far so good for staying over night (not suitable if you want to stay in the hotel over the day).

Czech RepublicThe only negative was, that right next to/under the hotel is some club so they play really loud music till late night. Get some ear plugs otherwise you wont sleep much. It is really pity because otherwise it could be perfect.
You feel really warm welcomed at this hotel. The staff is super friendly, will do anything for you. There are complimentary water, lemon soda, coffee, continental breakfast which is really nice (especially the fresh made waffels - TOP). You can also get your money changed there for good rate. You feel like in five star hotel. The rooms are quite spacious, clean (so is the bathroom). They ask you every day if you wish to make up the room. Near from hotel is market, restaurants and anything you need. Right next to hotel is restaurant bar where you can get some beer really good indian food. To the historical center it is ca 30 mins by foot.

PortugalAs a solo traveler you probably know that meeting friendly and helpful hotel staff enriches your experience greatly. Not only you feel comfortable but also safe. India is an assault on the senses so having a good place to rest is a must. I couldn’t praise more Mr Hemond and Mr Kushal for the attention provided throughout my stay. If you need something, just ask - they will do their utmost to help you. Either with your room or with city do’s and dont’s. As the breakfast is complementary, do not expect a fancy menu but you have some Indian daily delicacies to choose from and the usual “continental breakfast”, such as toast and eggs. Mr Mohan’s (the kitchen chef) scramble eggs are divine, and he makes sure to ask you if it was to your liking. Honestly I don’t understand why this hotel only has two stars. I’ve stayed in many hotels across India and this one deserves at least 3. It’s not the Hilton Hotel but for European standards is quite good! The rooms might need a bit of TLC but they’re functional and clean! Believe me, you will want to have a good night sleep after strolling around Mumbai. Plus, the hotel also offers daily cleaning if you just ask. Don’t get discouraged by the place surroundings, it may seem a bit dodgy but again, I’m a solo traveler and I didn’t have any problems walking around by myself from and to the Hotel from 9AM to 9PM Please bear in mind that if you lose your bedroom batch (like I did) the hotel will charge you an additional INR 207. Tip: leave it at the reception. Also, if you’re a “trekker”, the city center stays only a bit more than 2KM away, I did this everyday. From there, almost every “attraction” is close. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Especially due to their staff and cleanliness in general. Thank you!

GermanyThe rest of the area, and the city of Mumbai was terrible. The staircase leading up to the lobby was dark, had stray cats, dirty and it didn't even look like i was in the right place. The area around the hotel was dirty, trash on the streets, and no real sights to see. Crawford market was a short walk away, but you have to walk through a mini-slum to get there, and traffic/people are always INSANE. Liked the hotel, HATED Mumbai. They have a lot of work to do to be considered a tourist destination, and even a functioning city.
Once i walked into the hotel lobby, everything was fine. The room was nice, surprisingly very quiet considering the area was noisy 24 hours a day. The a/c was great, shower was fine. Breakfast varied, but you could stick with the basics (eggs, toast) or try an Indian dish. Or both! Hotel and staff were great. But........

CanadaThe breakfast was large, with Indian and Western choices, and available till 11am. Complimentary hot drinks or lime juice was available in the afternoon. Our room was small (two single beds on either wall with a walkway between, and bathroom at the end), but well appointed and laid out, and clean, so we still found it comfortable. The staff was extraordinarily obliging, so the place had an old-fashioned, high-class feeling despite the compact rooms and very reasonable price. And it was well located location in central Mumbai.

IndiaThere was ventilation in the bathrooms or the room, which made things a little stuffy. Technically there is no way around this but keep the AC on all the time.

IndiaWe had a deluxe room (no 110) which was larger than the Superior rooms, but a little noisy at 1st night. But then we were tired after trips to Ghorapuri and Thane creek, so we slept like logs.
Best is the service of Mr. Hemond Amanna. A very polite and humble man, as you would usually expect from a man from his profession. If you talk to him for sometime, you will learn he is an accomplished violinist who conducts a choir. The breakfast was pretty good and the service is wonderful. The refrigerator wasn't getting electricity and as soon as I informed, they got an extension chord.
