Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomBreakfast staff - I was constantly ignored when I was asked if I needed anything. I would then be asked if I had everything I needed, I replied saying I am waiting on cutlery/ drinks etc and then be ignored again. I was on average repeating myself 4 times everyday. I was given a table to eat at, put my phone and room key down on the table to then be told by other guests that the table was theirs and I needed to move... by hotel staff causing mix ups (all whilst holding my plate of food and drink), whilst the other guests had no food or drinks to hand. Not the best breakfast service by staff at all.

United KingdomThe length of time to get to the Gateway of India and other key sights due to the traffic. Often taking up to an hour and a half. Not the hotels fault but worth considering if this location is important to you.
All the staff were really welcoming and helpful, often going above and beyond. The hotel was spacious with excellent facilities, a wide variety of food options and a lovely pool area. Also direct access to the beach.

Nice location for our visits to Mumbai. Not far from Airport. Service is exceptionally good from everyone . Our choice hotel for past 15years or so.

United KingdomThere was an issue with my booking that caused an enormous amount of stress. The hotel said it was a system error. I had booked 2 nights via booking.com, for which I received email confirmation. Several hours later I received a cancellation notice! When I tried to find out why my booking had been cancelled I was cut off twice and then received 3 different answers from 3 different people causing a sleepless night and completely spoiling the last night at a prior location. When we arrived at the hotel the next day, I was charged for 4 nights which I only noticed after I had paid! I was then told the refund would not reach my account for up to 30 days! Not great. We received a cappuccino by way of an apology .....
The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and pool area were excellent. The room was nice - bathroom was clean and the shower was good! The beds were very comfortable.
