Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Exceptional hospitality in an ideal location. The staff are wonderful, welcoming and friendly. This is my second stay here and I’m very happy. I’m definitely coming back and recommending to all my friends and family in Australia 🇦🇺

A nice little oasis in Udaipur. Beautiful hotel - there was a musician playing during breakfast, and there were even small tortoises by the pool! Responsive staff and a comfortable room. It's also within walking distance of City Palace.

Might just be me, but I like a fridge in the room. I never asked for one, maybe I should have.

This is a very homely and welcoming hotel. Cared about our welfare when unwell and offered help. Pleasant courtyard and pool with a relaxing vibe. Good variety of food served by helpful waiters, particularly Barbu. All staff were brilliant, and the building is beautifully decorated in traditional style. If you are looking for peaceful chill it is a great place.

Pricy but honestly worth it

We stayed at Mahendra Prakash for a night of luxury with a pool to escape the Udaipur heat. This was easily the most expensive place we stayed in India but was also by far the nicest. The room was fab (loved the painted ceiling), the shower was hot and powerful and most importantly the pool was excellent. The pool is a good size for swimming which was exactly what we were after. The courtyard and pool area feels like a slice of paradise. Breakfast was extensive and tasty and staff were very helpful. Some hotels can feel quite formal but this really had a welcoming atmosphere.

We liked everything! Perhaps consider for coffee lovers to offer filtercoffee or cappucino at the breakfast.

This was one of our favourite hotels of the trip! An absolute oasis on the outskirts of Udaipur. Location is perfect to stroll into the centre if you wish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful + very yummy breakfast and room has soo much character! Highly recommend

The staff were particularly kind and helpful with a special mention for Mili. Delicious breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Lovely to hear the sound of water from our bedroom window. Very comfortable room. Good value for money. We were sorry to leave.

Very nice old hotel with a big garden and the pool. Rooms were really nice, ours had a view over the City palace. Breakfast was also good, staff very friendly.

Having to leave!

Such a fantastic hotel. Really great location and incredibly clean. Lovely garden to chill out in. Owner, Ajay Singh and his wife are charming and super helpful. Every other member of staff were amazing and Mili and Hukam on reception were so patient and helpful with my many questions! Definitely book this hotel.

Their kitchen needs to be cleaned, the breakfast and the facilities looked very very bad, the food itself was also not the best.

The location is great for reaching everything on foot, the property itself is beautiful, and they have tortoises strolling around the courtyard! The pool area is great and lovely just to relax at.

This is the place to choose if you want the luxury of a hotel and warmth of a homestay. It was a lovely heritage property, at a walkable distance from the city palace and other tourist attractions. The best part was definitely the gracious owners and the lovely staff. I highly recommend this place in Udaipur.

The setting was beautiful, soo peaceful. Our breakfast every morning was delicious, lots of options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is lovely. Very clean, good food, great staff and very quiet in what can be a noisy town. It is really well situated … just five minutes walk from the main city palace gate. Just turn right out of the hotel gate and you are there.

The only challenge was not having an elevator to go to upper floors

The ambience around restaurant with respect to pool was exceptional. The hotel is extremely clean and very well maintained. We stayed in Superior double room and it had a smart TV. After the long day, we could chill in the night watching favourite shows on OTT

Nothing, it was the best hotel we stayed at on our travels

Amazing hotel, staff are wonderful and are so helpful! Little piece of heaven in an otherwise chaotic India. Rooms super clean, and really good food if eating in the hotel on a lunch or dinner. Breakfast was the best we had in our travels in India.
