The Marriot is a favourite of ours, a little have inside a bustling city, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are great, Puneet and his team always do a super job and look after us so well

It's not that we didn't like it, but a suggestion to have maybe some activities such as sharing the Indian culture ( Indian dance) or karaoke. Not sure if this is possible, there is the Powai lake that could be explored for a short cut /ferry as a short cut to the traffic?

This stay of 14 days exceeded our expectations, everything was smooth from the check in, staff(everyone included from front desk to housekeeping and the crimson kitchen team, apologies if I couldn't list/ remember all of your names but you were all great), breakfast at Marriot, room service ordering, fantastic assistance with our queries, dinner at westin and airport arrangements. The team was kind, helpful and attentive, thank you so much you made our stay (as we were there on medical grounds) safe, comfortable and enjoyable. We also love animals and we found it wonderful that your hotel accepts pets and were pleasantly surprised you treated them also as guests.

Hospitality was not as per the standards of Marriott though the charges I payed were equivalent to what Mariott expects me too.

The Management needs to do a lot to make sure the hotel isn’t understaffed especially at front desk. The food quality and taste needs drastic improvement. And the pricing for what is in for is a little high and needs to be brought to ground reality. The pricing for food & beverages does not reflect in the taste and quality. If it wasn’t for the staff and the room it’s rate the hotel much lower.

The restaurant staff was fabulous especially Chetan, Abhishek & Amogh. Devendra & Yas h at front deak were amazing. And Jayleen managed the affairs brilliant with a smile. The food was average and sometimes the service - Housekeeping was slow.

The apartments are a little dated, perhaps need to be made a bit modern however very well maintained overall.

Cutting down mature trees on the property

Location is great, however it was sad and disappointing to see that they have cut down so many mature trees on the property!

Bad odour in the corridor , noisy sorroundings ( due to external maintenance work ), long waiting for lift.

I was really impressed with the hospitality of the staff , special mention to Mr SAMEER as he helped us alot during the check inn and check out time. He will be one of the reason I might choose this hotel again when travelling to mumbai . Sameer, keep the good work going and all the best for your future!

We had to wait nearly 15 min to check in, The process to allot a room could have saved our quality time. The room was allotted on 2nd floor, the view from room was okay, what can one expect from 2nd floor. But the room had a emergency door in the bedroom which was connected to another room. The voice of the people were clearly audible to us, this what made me uncomfortable. The reason we choose a 5 star hotel is for our privacy ,comfort and service, but we were unfortunate to get privacy because of the voice from the neighbour room. It was quite disturbing and disappointing to not be free in our own bedroom.

The location is one of the best you could find in mumbai, I always wanted to have a stay in here since I am born and bought up in Powai. We had enough place to walk around, got to see powai lake from an diff angle, The stay gave us a relaxed feeling as it was all surrounded by trees and nature. It takes you away from a busy city life, traffic and brings you close to nature. The moment you walk out of your hotel, there’s calming sound so birds chirping and everything around was so peace and silence. Vijay was the one who served us at dinner and he left no chance for us to serve a 5 star service. The dinner and breakfast had many options though.

Bathroom had problems of leakage in the toilet. Room AC temperature could not be changed and room temperature was at 18 degree which was uncomfortable
