Really Friendly staff and its amazing location. It is located close to Vishwanath mandir and Dasashwamedh ghat. You get conveyance from there to other temples as well.

The shower will take a bit of time to heat up so I would be mindful of that but otherwise worked well once hot!

The location of the property was excellent for our one night stay in Varanasi. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Dashashwamedh Ghat where you can watch the evening Ganga aarti. The room itself was comfortable, clean and the staff were always able to help us when needed.

- There’s no windows in our room, the air was stale - The electricity was often turned off. ( but not for long, it’s not a big deal)

Maybe deeper cleaning of the room and better curtains to cover the window properly. But overall it was ok.

The hotel located at Godowlia, walking distance to Dashashwamedh Ghat, although located at small street but very good location. If you go by taxi from the airport, let the driver call the hotel, there will be a staff pick you at the main road. All the staffs are really friendly. The room was clean and nice. Hot water at bathroom working well. There is a safety box in the room. I also ordered some food from the hotel's restaurant, it was okay :) I like it If I go to Varanasi again, I would definitely stay here again ;)

They should provide dental kits to the guests. At this price guest expects to have this basic facility available at hotel.

The rooms are lush. The location is great. Staff were nice. Rooms in Varanasi are typically quite small. This was fine for a few days, but if longer term will want something bigger. Great value for money.

Though while booking i came to know that there is no kitchen but that was not true i have lunch and dinner . This was truely home made very good taste with reasonable price. Apart from the owner and the manager non of the other stuff couldn’t speak in English

It is really close to almost all the ghats,there are plenty restaurants nearby as well ,although most of the staff couldn’t speak in English they were nice and friendly

Hotel entrance is not accessible by Car, had to walk a little 100 meter with luggage from where uber dropped us and same for pickup. Luckily we had trolley bags. Its not a long walk but it is must to reach hotel

Its location is perfect for someone who wants to walk few 100 meters and explore core banares city shops, Ganga aarti and Vishwanath dham

Hotel surrounding, entry from main road. Especially didn't like the street entry to hotel, full of crowd and very congested street, no cleaning.

Had an overall good stay at Namaste Banaras Hotel with my family. Hotel is located in a small alley, not difficult to find with google map. The manager and helpers were nice people and helpful. Hot water was always available with a switch in the room itself. Smart TV available in the room. Although we had a good stay, the room located on 2nd floor was not very sound proof as we could hear noise from the corridors and construction work quite loud in the evening, it was a bit disturbing. Closest ghat is Dashashwamedh ghat and Kashi Vishwanath temple is close. Since the hotel is in very close proxity to the ghats and temple, cars are not allowed on that road, a taxi from the airport for example will drop you at a crossing but it's within walking distance. We had an unexpected problem with the payment machine used at the hotel. Payment made with a debit card was declined but amount was actually paid to the hotel. It is only when I received a debit transaction msg on my phone from my bank that I came to know the amount was actually deducted from my account. The manager was quick to respond, checked with the bank and sorted out the matter in few hours. Thank you to the manager and staff :)

Staff to have explained how stuff works in room better - We didnt know water boiler/ heater switch & had to shower in cold water when we preferentially hot

Location is definitely biggest point of this place, the room decor & facilities the second for sure. We had electric kettle in room very considerate as we made some plans quite early/ late - made huge difference
