No beer or wine served at the restaurant. If the hotel had a bar, I would have nothing to complain about.

Lovely heritage hotel with bungalow-like rooms surrounding a garden. Very comfortable, spacious and well appointed rooms. Well-preserved, ornately-carved temples right within the hotel property. Very nice restaurant overlooking the garden.

Stepping into the hotel was like stepping back into history. A well-preserved heritage property located in the lap of nature, with plenty of trees all around where you can see peacocks and other birds hanging around at all hours of the day. On top of that, the service was impeccable and the food delicious. We liked everything about our stay.

Although the indian breakfast with local dishes is excellent, the general food menu could be updated and improved - quite honestly it’s not up to the mark of other Neemrana properties.

Property is beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The gardens are lush and great for early morning or late evening walks. The peacocks roaming freely around the property are the real stars. The staff are very polite, helpful and attentive. The rooms are just the right size. Authentic old style furniture but still quite comfortable. They have good wifi but 4G signal is strong anyway so no big deal.

A beer would have been nice with dinner but the hotel does not serve alcohol.

Deo Bagh is a heritage hotel ideally located in Gwalior. The rooms are detached from each other, all have a front patio and a rear terrace, which overlooks a well-maintained garden. The grounds are a delight to walk. The are a handful of historic temples right on the property, which guest may explore. Some of the temples have exquisitely preserved stone carvings.

Given the amenities, prices of rooms are very high. I booked a room for couples and they didn’t gave us double bed. Hot water in washroom (shower) cannot last more than 5mins. If one girl has to wash hairs than they end up having bath with cold water. Drinking water is extremely over priced. It’s in-human! Laundry is also over priced! I also didn’t like kitchen, they messed up rasmalayi, pakoras, parathas! Then I gave up eating there! Overall they serve good food, but not sure about its taste and authenticity!

I had specifically called and asked for 3 rooms together given we were traveling as a family with senior citizens. We had made the booking 4 months in advance and also called the property. The hotel did not provide that + the staff at the property did not handle the situation well (not cooperative) and kept repeating that they if you have booked from booking.com they cannot help. Almost made you regret booking from booking.com. No coordination between their sales team and team at the hotel. Did nothing to make the situation better and not great attitude. No attention to detail- the cups and spoons in our room were soiled and old toiletries were still there in the bathroom.

The lawns and the locations of the property was good. The chef was also good and the one dinner we had at the property we enjoyed.
