How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Rooms are very average. Communication by staff is very poor. Found it Strange that breakfast was not included for the price they charge

SoThe room was basic and small. The reason we had booked this hotel close to airport was we had different timed mid night international flights for our family. There was 1 member staying overnight for an early morning 5 am flight while I was leaving via a 12:30 flight. So we booked for 1 person and we checked in only at 8 pm instead of 4 pm. Our intention was to stay past dinner and head to airport. The front desk din't allow me to stay in the room since it was booked for my husband only. I requested them that I was there for 3 more hours as a visitor and I had my flight, so would be leaving. But they refused and asked me to wait my time in the lobby only. Finally we got fed up and paid for 2nd person's stay till next morning 11am, even though I was there only for 3 hrs. This was an unnecessary demand and the front desk staff were very rude. Since the cutoff time for our booking cancellation had crossed, we were forced to stay.

The in room dining was quite poor (lack of hygiene, lack of basic aminities eg. no spare usb cable that i could borrow for charging etc)
The staff where extra helpful, they went out of their way to even get me a transport to the airport. The breakfast kitchen was really good too!

Misleading information at the time of booking. Their website said there will be free airport shuttle every 20 mins, 24 hours a day, from hotel to airport. But at the time of checking-in, they asked me to pay INR 1600, to avail this service! Bathroom and the interior decor is showing signs of wear and year. But the corridors and public spaces are in excellent condition.
The location is good for the airport.

Breakfast was not included in the tariff and the same was nor mentioned anywhere. It was quite a shock to know it at the time of check in. For the price without breakfast it was expensive.

It’s very disappointing that a five star property near airport doesn’t have complimentary airport shuttle or cab service. And their paid cab service is ₹1200 for 3 kms which is ₹300 per km. Even a flight costs much less per km! Novotel has again disappointed me the second time. First it was Ahmedabad and now Hyderabad. Just for comparison Fairfield Marriott, a 3 star hotel at Pune has complimentary airport pick up and drop for a distance of more than 5 kms. And here Novotel has none for a distance of 3 kms. High net worth individuals, arriving late night end up haggling and waiting for cab services. Doesn’t hospitality services means a seamless joyous travel and stay experience. ACCOR should have a deep look at its travel unfriendly policies.

We paid 12.7k for a night but felt that the room size could have been bigger. Also the toilet seat had yellow marks , definitely not expected . Also there was no bathrobe , small things which I feel is a must in a property like this
Location is great . In room dining food was good and overall the hotel is beautiful
