Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaThe facilities were not as mentioned in booking.com site. I booked for a family room with two songle beds and one double bed. But what I got was one double bed and one extra bed. I had to pay for the one more additional bed. The details should be more accurate

IndiaThe lady receptionist was extremely rude to all the guests , i felt that she was treating all the guests like beggars and she is doing favour to all. may be because of the rush but they are expected to stay calm and composed. Atleast not shout on customers. Queen size beds do not give luxury feel.
Excellent property with great location and at a very good price. They have a small roof top restaurant and bar with nice food.

NorwayThere is a lovely rooftop outdoor bar/restaurant, but the smoking tables are in an INSIDE room! The bed came with 2 shiny white ironed sheets, but then they had sandwiched this, used by everybody blanket, IN BETWEEN the sheets! Sheets are no longer really clean then.
Nice spacious and clean room with plenty of space to put your things. Lovely rooftop bar/restaurant, nicest one I could find in town. Very good location. Walking distance to the bus station and to the sights. Excellent WiFi. Super efficient check in. The web page says pay in advance, but it's safe for foreigners to book here, as I heard nothing, so they obviously know that we can't pay online.

IndiaThe hotel's corridor and lift were poorly managed, giving a negative first impression upon arrival.The paint in the corridor was peeling off in slices, which detracted from the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the hotel.The curtains in the room appeared to have not been washed in quite some time, which was disappointing for a hotel aiming for a comfortable stay.The wardrobe in the room seemed very old and showed signs of termite damage, which was concerning for the condition of the furniture.
The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.The hotel's location is convenient and easily accessible, making it a suitable choice for exploring Mysore.
