It would have been nice to know that the hotel was undergoing renovations prior to booking. The rooms and toilets while functional and clean were dated (not in a heritage kind of way) and had lots of deferred maintenance.

The food and drinks were exceptional and beyond expectations. The staff were extremely polite, helpful, professional, and exceptional. The pool was great.

There is lady service staff in resturant and she prefers foreigners over Indians and she makes sure that foreigners are sat over her tables. She makes sure that we won't sit there if at all if we sit there she made sure she woke us up in front of the entire crowd and got the confirmation. I have not seen this in star hotels also. Sorry to share this we felt very bad when she make us get up from the table.

A little bit overpriced in my opinion. The pool is smaller than we imagined although was still nice to chill in the area.

Beautiful historical property. I had read some reviews suggesting that it had fallen a bit in hard times and it’s age was showing. The portions of the hotel we experienced, including our room, were very well maintained, clean, elegant. Service was gracious.

Beautiful hotel and gardens. Great breakfast and a decent restaurant on the premises. The room and environs have an authentic feel. I was there for work so didn't get a chance to see the sights but would recommend the hotel either way.

Very charming and stylish hotel with spacious rooms. Excellent restaurant and wonderful service. Patios and balconies are relaxing and the lush landscaping is beautiful. The floors and wooden staircases are gleaming. Perfect location.

Well was really let down with paying close to 10k per night i didn't get the dental kit which is a real bummer. We were two members and there was only one bathroom chappal.I would suggest that hotel pays close attention to these aspects.

The pricing lacked transparency on the booking.com portal. I thought I was on half board as the meal plan mentioned breakfast and lunch .But at the time of check in, the hotel said that this was not the case and the meal plan rates were only applicable for the weekend ( we were travelling during the week). Travellers must double check pricing before booking as other hotels offer much better plans. The bathroom fittings were very old and outdated and the hot water did not work. The swimming pool was not well maintained. The check in time needs to be briught forward . We did not get our room till 130pm and then found several things missing after such a late check in. The check out time is 11am though.

The location and decor were great. The staff were very courteous. The breakfast buffet was great.
