Location, though off the main track, offered fantastic views of the Dhauladhar mountain ranges on one side and lush green fields on the other. Stuff service and food quality was of top most quality.

There was nothing adverse. However, it would do well to provide the sit-out with a railing to avoid any possible mishap. The room could do with a mirror.

Set in the lap of snow covered mountains and fields far from the madding crowd, the views are simply breathtaking. There is total peace and tranquility. The cottage replicates the ambience of a typical Himachali village home while being fitted with every modern amenity. Its glass walls give an uninterrupted panoramic view of the mountains, fields and valley while still being indoors. The sit-out is spacious and makes one feel connected with the environment. The staff was very welcoming and they did everything possible to make our stay memorable. The chefs Maneet and Ranveer Singh were highly accomplished. They served us wide variety of dishes to international standards. The attendants Udham Singh and Chaman Singh were brisk and efficient at all times. The housekeeping services were ably supported by Anjana. The team worked harmoniously under the leadership and able guidance of Bajinder and Chain Singh ji. Talking with Chain Singh ji was an enriching experience. We look forward to visiting again.

food - since the property is in a secluded spot there are no restaurants near by, only option is to eat at the property. however the food there i not upto the mark. cottage- the location of the cottage is excellent but the cottage is made poorly. the windows ans doors do not fit, during windy conditions you can feel the breeze/wind in the cottage even after closing all windows and doors.

A delightful home stay at a beautiful location. Property is located before Palampur and is at a serene, peaceful village away from the madding crowd. Impeccably maintained under the oversight of Chain Singhji an elderly gentleman who is grace and hospitality personified.Bajinder, Udham and Ranveer are his able lieutenants who run the place with clockwork efficiency and turn out incredible food catering to all your culinary whims. Apart from the memorable stay our big takeaway as a couple were the long conversations with Chain Singhji. Will definitely come back to this heavenly place.

Chain Singh ji and udham singhji will treat you like their own. The place is serene and cosy. A perfect place for anyone who wants to be away from the hustle bustle of the city. The whole Red Cedar Cottage is beautifully done with high windows , beautiful view, glass ceiling and unique amazing washroom . It's a must visit.

If you’re looking for a home away from home, this is the spot! Hands down, best hospitality I’ve ever experienced, and I travel a lot. The three men there, Charan Singh, Udham Singh and the chef (sorry I’m blanking on the his name) would take care of you like their own family, cook you any food any way you’d like, and do anything in their power to make sure you feel comfortable in their house. Speaking of food, the chef is amazing and knows what he’s doing. Every single dish we had at Seclude was delicious, clean and healthy. Udham singh was running around the whole time to get us anything we needed or asked for. The resort was beautifully decorated with real plants and flowers and had the best view of himalayas that you could see from the wall-sized glass windows. We stayed in the red cedar cottage. Would definitely come back here and probably stay longer than we did the first time around. One last thing, you’d definitely find peace here if that’s what you enjoy, the area is very peaceful and serene. Make sure you book the all inclusive meal package. You will not regret staying here one bit!!

Everything about the property was magnificient. The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this place. The rooms were spectacular, especially the red cottage, the glass walls, the shower area, everything was outstanding. The food is another point we would like to point out, OUTSTANDING. You ask for it and they make it. The best food I've ever had in any stay! Thank you sooo much!

Loved everything.

The property is absolutely stunning. We stayed here for four nights. It was just me and a girl friend of mine staying in the Red Cedar Cottage and we were amazed at the beauty, the view of fields, trees, the mountains from inside the room. There's a fully grown living tree INSIDE the room. You cannot ask for more... The room and property was clean, very well maintained, hot water was plenty and piping hot, they had provided us with electrically heated blankets and a room heater. So even though the temperature dropped to 9 degrees, inside the room, and particularly inside the bed, it was warm and toasty. We loved the sandwiches, parathas and pakodas :) But what really made the entire experience fulfilling was just how kind, attentive and eager to help make our stay worthwhile was the staff. The manager, the cook and the caretaker were all extremely warm, anticipating our needs before we had realized them. The caretaker in particular, Bajinder Singh is a star. He was prompt, efficient, and very very hands-on. There wasn't a single moment of us wondering how long something would take. Everything was done so promptly that we were free to enjoy the vacation as we had hoped to. Also, everything you look, every single thing is Instagrammable.
